Don't give up the faith brother! Haha...I'm sure you'll get one. Tenacity (and perhaps some patience) go a long way... Sometimes there is some real psychology coming into play here. We always want what we can't have...I consider myself very lucky to have gotten a Pre-production Atari Flashback Portable, for instance. And I do love Arcade Space Invaders! But suppose I had not gotten one? And how many times have I actually played Space Invaders since I've had it? (Once I think LOL)...And things are so much easier to actually score today then when we were younger. For instance as a kid (a kid in his 20's haha), I always wanted a Green Game Boy...And I'd say it took literally years to get one, looking in stores and the wild before the internet...But NOW I have 2 of them plus a Green Game Boy Pocket ! You definitely won't die without one,... But I say, Good luck and enjoy the ride!

A lot of time it becomes a "time & work" Vs. money situation... Personally I like bundles and of course getting some games with a console purchase...In most instances if someone is buying a console, they don't have any games yet. Unless of course it's a "replacement" console or they collected for it ahead of time, or it has backwards compatibility...But those are rare instances. The flip side, however, is that you get more money if you sell the games separately, but it's a lot more time and work... I think exactly how you are planning to do it makes a lot of sense...It's kind of a "middle ground" in the time & work vs. money scenarios...

Man that sucks Jin! I Don't know what it is about 7800s! I have 3 and none are perfect...One has a very nice top but the bottom is cracked and missing some small plastic pieces...still works just fine and looks nice since you don't see the bottom; That's the spare one I'm selling (awaiting a reply actually),. Then I have 2 that I sent away to Canada to be modded. This was 12 or 14 years ago...Got nice A/V and S-Video mods done to both, but guess what? Even packed well, UPS managed to get the box smashed and the 2 consoles took a hit with one showing damage to the top of it! I actually just took a cash settlement as I recall, because I didn't want to have to wait to play 7800 again...And they play fine...And overall they're just a bit scratched up, not destroyed or anything...I barely notice anymore, But I've seen nicer looking ones... It does seem unless you get a boxed version, it might be rough...And then the seller should pack it for the apocalypse and pray the Post Office or UPS do their jobs...It's funny I've had them deliver the most intricate, delicate things with no problems but a sturdy console can be damaged...It boggles the mind...I once got a Super Famicom game from Japan and the guy put in this little hand made origami paper crane "For Good Luck" and its wings weren't even folded! And I understand what you guys are saying about ebay...I just saw one on there that was "console only", talking no hookups, no controllers, no games, no power supply ...UNTESTED, No Returns! $70! oh and he still had the audacity to charge ANOTHER $30+ for shipping! I've usually had better luck on ebay than that though...LOL

I don't have #12 either!! Then I reread the Facebook post and noticed it said, "We're putting the finishing touches on #12"...So it's probably not out yet. Totally Agree about Not investing in Nintendo long-term...They are a stock I would Day Trade on Good News days, Get in, Get out fast! ...Oh to have been smarter in the past with regards to Pokémon Go...Those were the days when some guys really cleaned up!

Nope just 2600 ROMs, but maybe it isn't full...I may have jumped the gun on thinking so...It acted up once and I assumed it might be...I suppose I better find some more ROMs and see if they fit...

Thanks so much for doing this! I believe I've already filled up my card (4GB)...I should probably buy an 8GB... My manual says charge it for 11 hours the first time and subsequent charges take about 7 hours...

I wanted to add a few results to the list...Shall I just put them here? (I don't want to mess with the list). Crazy Balloon works Elevators Amiss works Encaved works Enigma Machine seems to work, but I don't know how to play it so I can't be sure Fall Down works JoustPong works Synthcart will make noise but I doubt it's working properly Swoops! The 1st and 3rd games work. The 2nd game does not work. And I believe the 4th game partially works...If it is made up of the other 3 games (and this is a guess) then it will partially work. That's all I have for now that isn't already on the list, but I wanted to contribute a little...

I like both of those songs! It's definitely an old saying,...And Usually doesn't apply to me (This month is different haha)...But when I wrote that I was completely picturing this guy I used to work with who used to say it all the time...FWIW, his band used to do some Hendrix covers, And I was in a heavy band with a drum machine at the time...(neat coincidence eh?) But I'll take all the Likes and +1s I can get! Keep'em coming!

While I don't know the details of why Arcadia games won't work...I remember back in the day, they ran ads saying the Supercharger was 48 times more powerful than a standard Atari...

I'll never own either Scratch that ...Maybe someday...a Retro-Bit complete with beyond low expectations haha... And yet (for some reason) what these remind me of was this famiclone system I once bought with a bunch of built-in games...There was a ton of stuff listed on the box, including some I didn't recognize or was curious about...I remember the thing being fairly cheap (maybe $30 or so) and it was "themed" as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles deal...Completely unlicensed from China. It was even shaped like a Turtle Shell LOL... But it didn't work at all! Never saw video from it... I guess I should show some pics now that I've described it... This was the Retro-Bit Chameleon in my life...(We've all got one somewhere)

Yeah no doubt! I like Infiltrate...But my cartridge of it was so quirky and flaky...I cleaned it greatly, but still it would only work if ya put it in and began pulling it back out, on one side or the other, in small increments until it worked again...Also the moon had to be in waning gibbous, it had to be nightfall on an odd numbered day, certain celestial events unknown to most men had to be occurring, there needed to be a seventh son within a quarter mile, you had to speak the words "nindinugga nimshimshargall" 5 times in rapid succession without missing a syllable...And then of course, begin chanting, "Klaatuu, veraata, nikto..." right as you turned on your Atari ... It was a hard game to get to work, was my point.

I'd definitely say "easy" is a frame of reference. I'm not an illiterate moron, but not a computer whiz, and I've been stumped many times in the past by these things my friends would call "easy",...Then again if there exists a basic step by step guide or a good YouTube video that helps these days...

No prob! What I sometimes do is put a "laptop" joystick like the HORI or an X-Arcade etc. on a small stack of milk crates right in front of me sitting on the couch and that can work pretty well... I may send ya PM Jin...I have some 7800 games I was planning on ebaying...And lately I've been thinking about selling some games but giving some AtariAge members first crack at them...
