  1. Coleco didn't post the message. Mike did. This is his way to weasel out without saying a word. Coleco finds non-working prototype and "pulls the page". Mike says well I tried. The end.
  2. Why would you go through the trouble of hacking a FPGA into a system that already plays SNES Games into a SNES to play SNES Games? Go back to retroland because you are obviously a plant.
  3. Really? I don't understand why some people are in your ass or why you are so defensive. Mike has been deceitful from the beginning and if you are a victim of it as well then it isn't your fault. I read your statements where you were surprised the game that you brought for lootcrate worked without a hitch. That was all I needed to read. Don't let one dick run you off.
  4. Emulation of 16-bit and ps1 games was fine on Athlon 2400+. Hell most of it runs fine on a 20 buck raspberry Pi.
  5. Hello Ian. I'm Chris. I lurked here reading forever before making an account. after the near 200 page thread and then 20 pages into this one I had to make an account. I can't believe that this is going just like the previous crowdfunding shitstorm. I asked simple yes no questions and they kept getting deleted. Finally I had enough and told Mike to quit being deceitful and fill his investors (us) in. Deleted again. So I told people about the thread here and was blocked. No biggie. Now I won't invest a cent in this and have no problem telling others to stay away.
  6. That chic doesn't know shit about technology based on any of her articles.....
  7. Don't get me wrong. I understand what you are saying but from what he has said, what he has shown, and how they deleted the video that showed the back of console and constantly delete anything that isn't praise or a shill I am more than skeptical of any thing that comes out of his mouth at this point.
  8. You keep bringing up the retron and retrofreak as having a FPGA and that they do. However, Mike has stated that they have a custom written SNES emulation core for their FPGA. That is a far cry from what the retron and retrofreak are using it for. The system shown at the toy fair was a SNES Jr in a jaguar shell so your point is moot regardless.
  9. As a machinist removing the protrusions from the mold to delete features like the led lights and USB plug without leaving seams would take 5 minutes with a die grinder and another 10 to blend out anything that would leave flash/lines on the finished product. Also as long as they make tig welders you have as many chances to modify it as necessary until it's right.
  10. So you are going to release on steam finally? Hopefully you use a script to hide the emulator on launch. Higan has the shittiest gui I have ever used.
  11. I think it's awesome that people are doing this as well. My issue lies with the way Mike magically has a fully functional SNES core when most of the available cores lack audio, have timing issues, compatibility problems etc. To have a fully functioning 16-bit core would put the cost of this system over $200 easily based on the cost of the FPGA and arm processor alone.
  12. He is the author of the somewhat working Genesis core. Also known as Torlus
  13. That was one of the selling points dude. I can get these for 80¢ a piece from China and rebrand them for the retro Chameleon.
