Neo Geo also wasn't the best Arcade System on a technical level as it was designed as a budget Arcade System, which meant it didn't have the best Graphics or Sounds possible, as the hardware was around 2 years old of date when it launched. Very Similar to the Hardware on a Truxton board "88. Neo Geo biggest strength was their ability to attract some of the best game programmers of the time, and good quality control practices.

Hard to tell how well exA-Arcadia will do, there Japanese live test is going on now, and quite a few of the games i hear are pretty fun. Believe the issue here is that the new systems are incoming within a few years, which will have them pretty close to this. Also probably no way to update the games, or have a Game as a Service which has some good benefits. Don't think that is the main issue since these machines are around 4-7K and carry around 40+ Games, though their steam like service. Hard to say how many games will come out, outside the 2019-2020 window as it all depends on a good launch. Seems a bit questionable, since it covers 30 years of hardware, and their has always been issues with CRTS and Non CRT's, since they are very difference technologies in displaying images. In how they stated this, there is Some cabinets that can't play them.

Heard some of these things on exA-Arcadia i heard some of these things on exA-Arcadia in the past, just my thoughts. $2000 for a motherboard kit or $1500 may not attract additional content. Cave did release one of there last titles like this, but there Black version was around 7K in 2014. Also Cave 1000 boards had fpga so they could hardware emulate old hardware features. Hard to tell if this will have any pickup especially since Japan's Arcades have been pretty much static in generating revenue for a very long time. Also other markets like the US, and the other Americas have very different requirements for game arcade systems to be successful. They do support certain cellphone features and social media like game streams like other Japanese boards. Sounds like it possible to hook up these boards similarly to a NAOMI if anyone wants a idea on how to set one up on a Cab or supergun.

You may want to Check out a Jamma Neo Geo Supergun route with a mulitcart Though it will cost around 2 -4 times as much depending if you want to build some of the parts.

Controller isn't real Jamma Arcade Stick or buttons, and Pandora usually run on old versions of Mame, so they will be some more emulation bugs. Generally speaking it difficult to tell the build quality and other issues since this is a "Pirated Rom device" that is released by many different suppliers.
