  1. Kinda wonder if anyone does cardboard cutouts, like that metal slug??
  2. That takai shokai collection look pretty sic His webshop http://www.ampress.co.jp/takaishokai/takaishokai.htm Over 3000 Arcade board list http://www.ampress.co.jp/takaishokai/stocklist.htm
  3. Always wondered if Capcom VS SNK series was different on the dreamcast vs naomi such as gameplay or graphics?
  4. Fatal Fury - NEW Fatal Fury 2 - NEW Fatal Fury 3 - NEW Real Bout Fatal Fury Special - NEW Maybe SNK finally figured out that Fatal Fury series sells and is as popular as King of Fighter series which is a "SPINOFF" .....
  5. "Garou: Mark of the Wolves 2, the animation work was almost done. It’s really a shame that the project broke down." Sad that SNK basically used old KoF animations in their games for year after this, and basically forgot about their Flagship Fatal Fury Game Series outside of Merchandising
  6. Kinda amazing that Ikari Warriors is basically SNK's high point, since it basically their only game that did amazing well in both America and Asia Arcades. Kinda amazing how long Tradewest was selling these games also as they were still selling them in the early 90's. Pretty funny also that Late Leland Cook of tradewest is where Colonel Cook got his name in the US version.
  7. Believe the issue is that a lot of the haters didn't play Arcade games of this era
  8. I laugh at all the Hate, most Haters just haven't played the systems as just about every console has 10 to 20 must have games, with a similar amount of hidden gems followed by a Hundred + of shovel-ware.
  9. Surprised that Sega's Zaxxon has been said by someone ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psikyo is some what underrated outside of Strikers 1942 and their previous involvement on Aero Fighter Gunbird series Dragon Blaze Samurai Aces Zero Gunner series
  10. 11. Yes if its runs arcade Jamma board's which most 90's arcades did
  12. N64 wasn't a system for either 2D style games or had Real Audio which other systems did well in like the PlayStation and the Saturn. Also Japan has a big Arcade Game industry and at this time they were basically designed closer to the Saturn and PlayStation specs. So this hurt other games genres outside of Jrpg's, including music games, shootem' up's, and fighting games.
  13. Fatal Fury games you have is rather a nice pickup, Glen since they tend to make dramatic changes in each one for the better
  14. Guessing to prevent Confusion since Neo Geo CD controllers can't be plug into this this thing
  15. would need to do that to 10+ emulators and would need special support for over 1000 games
  16. Probably a lot worst since Sega has a long term contract with Atgames which gave them their original classic ip
  17. I like SS2 better too, but to be fair SS is a very good game. Both games are well polished and balanced, and most of the differences are in SS2 having more of a advance fighting system Kinda of like comparing Street Fighter II to Street Fighter III
  18. Guardian Heroes and Sega Rally seem to be running a lot faster then stock as some of the the sound effects seem to have a Speed Racer vide to it
  19. Most of the SNK games used their version though as you can see most ports had slowdown in attempting to do their hardware with software based solutions

  21. Breakout was/is a pretty good game on the 5200 and they could of did far worst for a launch title as it was the tetris Game of it era
  22. There is no good way even today on modern PC's to enlarge sprites and make them look good, the issue is that by enlarging you need to add detailing. Yeah Arcade boards have special chips so they could use hardware assistance as Motorola 68000 or similar CPU's used during those days for Arcades didn't have the ability to run by software effects such as scaling without impacting the game's performance by themselves
