I'm happy that all the chips are falling into place on this, well mostly. I'm happy most of us are starting to agree on what went wrong and who showed poor decision making. I wish certain you tubers would take the time to see our side and actually listen ( the way they keep saying we need to) the majority of the concerns brought up in this thread have been totally valid, both toward you tubers and the teams involved alike. THIS is what a community is, its not always easy, but with conversation and venting we are coming to resolutions about things. I wanna say thanks to every one involved and I hope we can move forward with a positive attitude. #teamatariage

Okay that's fair enough, but can I ask you something? Do you ( everyone at CV games john included) think that MAYBE all the videos in promotion of the cham/vgs were just a LITTLE bit over the top? And do you think that it would have been more fair to retract sooner, and explain things in there entirity as soon you started to smell shit? These questions are without sarcasm or malice, as I said I truely your attempts at apologizing/explaining and hold no I'll will. However, gamesters video left me a bit flabbergasted by the way he said things, I also understand that is beyond your control. The fucking chameleon was passed off as being able to actuate multiple console cores via a non existent FPGA . however we got a SNES in a bullshit shell, actually just forget it I really don't care

My point is I don't think it was ever going to play more than SNES games and I truly believe there's more the SNES Jr in a shell. Just not sure what

Idk about anyone else but gamester81 disgusts me . I would have plopped 300 down on the vgs at the time if I weren't more curious about specs, which lead me to all this bullshit. He has a responsibility as a community leader not to shill and suck the oranges off any tree in the park for a few bucks. He knowingly deceived us, I'm sorry hut there's no way around it. Actually upon further inspection the toy fair cart has a square hole in the top left of the face . hmm

Oh shit. Okay look at the toy fair proto running caverns of death on the CRT. That's the same exact proto cart that's in the pics with the clear shell. It has the same smooth spot/tape on the top handle part. So if the toy fair proto was a SNES which is beyond a shadow of a doubt true then how could that same cart be playable on this new console? I doubt highly they have a working SNES core so I am not entertaining that idea personally

Yes true but its all just strange. And I know its all bullshit but its Saturday, no work and my girls working so I'm pretty bored lol. Its just something fun to do . the biggest thing is that board from what I see cannot support a cartridge. Could someone link me the pics from the FB update? I only have twitter so I can't see them easily

I've been looking at the new pics a lot, I noticed two things. First the board from center to right (looking down) is very narrow and the cartridge in the shell over hangs off the edge. Secondly the player one USB port has a pin header directly behind it, so close its touching the back of the USB. Those are really weird design choices for what's meant to be a custom board. Also the placement of the LED ( which is laying on its side) is very strange . it seems two wires (red and black) lead from the LED to some power header elsewhere. So why not place it where its intended to be? Some of you guys were talking about modifying the case but it would be far cheaper to just design the board correctly. Something is very off about this and that board looks really familiar. I'm still looking into it
