  1. neither will China they will boot
  2. I'm not piling on hate was just curious. Also the inflections of speech in the indiegogo video just brings back memories of all those Vaporware systems that have been popping up over the last couple of years.
  3. Apparently you can't get the cartridge adapter from retrode anymore you have to go through businesses who are licensed to make and sell them
  4. Okay has anyone seen this? http://comicbook.com/gaming/2017/09/19/interview-putting-together-retro-goodness-with-the-seedi-system My observation is this can't be legal seeing as it would have to use the BIOS for the cd systems is claims to be able to play. Also it seems to be selling open source emulators installed into it. Here is the indiegogo https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/seedi-retro-gaming-system#/
  5. I think the name site would do better maybe if the name Game Gavel died.
  6. Yeah all I remember from the post I saw was someone "railing" on Piko for the buying the magazine and so on. The person who posted it was coming off as a outright douchebag
  7. Speaking of Piko interactive a group on Facebook seems to just hate him.
  8. So is this what the thread has come to? No more Mike Kennedy shennanigans to go after so members of the site are now going at each other? Ya'll need to grow up.
  9. I see Gamster81 is still shilling for them Kind of question his knowledge if he says that the system he saw looked solid.
  10. My favorite time in "Buffy" when Willow goes full on evil
  11. My biggest issue with this system's design is the module aspect. Why not just stick with a cd based system, focus on that and make it work. Why the need for the cartridge modules? The modules just add in more components that can fail quickly or just not work from the beginning.
  12. Good lord the more I read on this the more it just seems so damn stupid. The design is just stupid as shit frankly.
  13. True, but you can rig up a simple circuit to make a cd drive "work"
  14. I'm confused I thought Patreon was only for Artists, Musicians and Video Creators
  15. Personally i feel that RetroBit Generations is a flimsy piece of kit. The plastic is kind like that cheap plastic that bootleg action figures are made from.
  16. Apparently the Japanese Hacker, was able to tap into the Famicom Mini's system and actually put in a prototype linux front end of his own making. I know it isn't an out right "hey I hacked this and added a shit ton more games" but it opens the door for stuff on both Mini systems
  17. So I had been told that it wouldn't be possible to hack the NES Mini because it's a system on a chip, yet it seems someone in japan figured out how to hack the Famicom Mini. So I guess it's just a matter of waiting for someone here to hack the NES version.
  18. You can go to Amazon and pre-order the Retro Bit Generations. Also noticed you can order a lot of the "knock off" game systems that use to be confined to Ali Express on Amazon now LOL
  19. Wonder if he has worked something out with them in terms of payment of some kind
  20. Alright cool. I am not familiar with Retro Bit so I thought I would ask
  21. So you all know of the NES Mini and I can't remember if anyone has touched on this one http://www.usgamer.net/articles/retro-bits-generations-console-looks-a-leap-beyond-the-classic-mini-nes-2 Now does Retro Bit really got licenses for the games included on their Generations Console? I only ask cause even though I can no longer post on the RETRO Magazine Facebook page, I still see stuff from it every now and then. And that page is just schilling like crazy for this console.
