I started lurking this thread (or the old RetroVGS thread at least) because I NeoGAF kept referencing the board when that whole debacle went down. As entertaining as this thread has been, it seems safe to assume this is a board full of decent people. I'm sticking around. Also, I don't think Coleco is trying to deceive anyone. They licensed their name to this product because they wanted to make money on it; if there is no product they're going to pull their name. They're giving "Retro" one last chance, which won't matter, because it's clear that right now they've got absolutely nothing.

I'm legitimately curious what any of those guys actually DID these past 12 or whatever months. They clearly weren't working on developing a console

Admit he screwed up, say something like, "I was in over my head and just wanted to make something cool," and apologize. Put an end to all this.
