  1. 3690 Remind me to never play this game again. There's a reason that some games were never released
  2. That Robotron coupler is really nice, and infinitely better than the turd that came packed in with Spy Hunter. I'm surprised that no hobbyists have devised a professional twin joystick solution for the 2600 as of yet. Would certainly make playing games like Solaris, Radar Lock, and Stargate less of a pita...
  3. I don't think that it violates Ebay's rules. If they did make any noise about it, you could just say that it is an in-person exchange like for vehicles or other high-value items. They're already going to take a big, wet bite out of his ass on seller fees as it is.
  4. Stipulation that the first $100 be paid via Paypal and the remainder to be paid via another means. What is the other option? Cashier's check?

    WTB: Atari 7800

Unrelated note. I was at the flea yesterday and a junk dealer had a pretty looking 7800 deck with a clean bezel and a nice set of controllers, but no power brick. He wanted $15 for it, to which I offered $10. He wouldn't split the difference so I walked away from it. Might try again next weekend .
  6. I wish I had a snowball's chance in hell of winning this cart as it is only an hour away from here. If I myself were bidding, I'd try to arrange to see it in the flesh . Btw, what the hell is it with all of this good loot lurking around the Cincinnati/Dayton area that I'm not finding .
  7. I did some math on it and even without negotiation taken into effect you both made out on the deal. It's especially nice for the buyer to be able to knock out 83.3% of the Starpath library in one shot without being nickeled and dimed to death on shipping buying them individually. The real shame about Starpath stuff is the fact that it is so hard to find in the wild. I've found a few cassettes over the years, and I think only once have I found one actually categorized in with 2600 games. The other times were always mixed in with audio cassettes at thrifts over the years.
  8. @ninermaniac: Is there still a flea market there on US23 in Russell, KY? IIRC you live in Ashland, and I haven't been that way in many years. If that flea market is still there, I wouldn't mind coming down one weekend and looking for Atari stuff, though I'm sure you've picked it clean if it is still there
  9. The last copies of Sword of Saros and Survival Island I know of went for around $50 apiece on ebay a few months ago. I paid like $225 for my two along with Frogger, Party Mix, Rabbit Transit, and a couple other Starpath cassettes. Probably wouldn't have gone that high but I was drunk in a bar on my birthday with my friends egging me on in the closing minutes of the auction .
  10. I'll take "Getting F'd in the A" for $1000, Alex. Same thing that Bira Bira is doing to me at the moment.
  11. Seeing as there is a set of Euro pads in there and Seamonster being the only real high profile cart in that lot, I can't help but think that it might be PAL. At least that's what I'm telling myself as I sip on this glass of rye and try to forget about it...
  12. Yeah, but I knew I was going to be home so there wasn't no point in it. Was also certain that other AA'ers were set to fight for it.
  13. Someone got a sweetheart deal on a Seamonster cart: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 250542297750 I was set to bid on it at the end but ebay decided it wanted me to sign in, thus killing my chance of getting it
  14. I sent you a PM earlier regarding an Atari Corp. cart as well as a copy of Race which is on your want list. I thought you were offering it for sale when I sent the PM, but immediately saw my error. Apologies for my brainfart.
  15. I had the pleasure of playing with a non-functional mockup of the Flashback portable at MGC earlier in the year and was even able to spend a decent amount of time talking with Marty about it. Sadly, it sounds like the only thing holding it back from the production line is a financeer, which is a terrible shame. The looks and feel of the unit felt right, as well as the proposed price point and the features to be implemented in it. From what I've seen, what is left of the Flashback 2s have sold really well around here at Kroger stores and anywhere else that managed to secure inventory this holiday season. Maybe that could persuade potential money men?
  16. I'm interested in Atari Corp. picture labels of Blackjack, Concentration, Flag Capture, and Fun with Numbers if you happen to have them. You didn't explicitly mention them, so I doubt it
  17. Damn, a Glock for $50 and a frozen pizza, eh? I'm entertaining the notion of paying ~$500 for a Glock 27 right now. Doubt I can cut a side deal for it, though Not everything can be ebay...
  18. The bulk of the games are in Sterilite 28 quart totes. I stopped using them after they redesigned them a couple years ago making them worthless for holding atari cartridges. I've since switched to Iris Buckle-Up Boxes from Office Max. They only hold 88 carts as opposed to the 96 that the old Sterilite containers hold, but they beat a blank.
  19. I'll be there again this year. I'll help man the Beef Min Games booth although I'm not actively selling this time. I didn't devote nearly enough time to being a drunk asshole last year as I should've on account of being a vendor.
  20. Kind of funny regarding "LQQK" and "[email protected]@K" in auction titles. I make it a point to put LQQK, [email protected]@K, ULTRA, NOT, and PAL in my search strings on ebay when looking for Atari stuff. You'd be amazed how much of the riffraff you weed out just by excluding those keywords in your search string.
  21. Sega grip case carts will not fit in the 4x5 bags that I use. I've never bothered to come up with a solution.
  22. I think I already had my cart in hand before I ever got a shipping confirmation from batari
  23. This is what I have after 7 years of hard work, with some 6 month gaps in there when life got in the way. Feel free to laugh at it or otherwise critique it, as I'm sure it pales in comparison to many of your collections. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into amassing said collection and I'm fairly pleased with the result. There are a couple rarities in there that managed to hide from the camera, such as a Tooth Protectors and a Xonox-style Boing! Everything is NTSC with the exception of an Atari 32 in 1 and a PAL picture label copy of Miniature Golf. I think there are 550-ish 2600 carts there and I'm a few boxes and manuals short of a CIB 7800 set. My main goal at this point on the 2600 end is to get the remaining Sears labels that I need such as picture label Canyon Bomber, Gunslinger, Race, etc...
