I keep getting Fred Quimby and Diamond Joe Quimby confused.

I got my Harmony cart yesterday and I am more than pleased with it. I plan on buying a couple more for family members once supply is no longer an issue. I don't find it fair play to order several of them when there are people out there still wanting one. To be honest, I'm surprised none have showed up on ebay with inflated pricetags yet.
-
I live in Cincinnati, Red Sea Crossing currently resides in Cincinnati. I'd be happy to give the cartridge and owner a ride to Cleveland just to try to put these rumors to rest finally... Hell, I'd settle for seeing the cart in the flesh behind glass in Cincinnati.

The local Kroger here had about 30 come in to go on sale on Thanksgiving at 6am. My grandmother had made noise about wanting one despite the fact that I've repeatedly offered her a bonafide system with whatever games she wanted. Well, I went ahead and got one off of Amazon for $30 shipped that morning and then left to have Thanksgiving dinner at said grandmother's house and she had a Flashback II hooked up to the television. So... now I have a spare Flashback II that I'll likely keep for myself seeing as the one I have now has had a cartridge port added to it.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I deduced that it was a result of creative usage of bankswitching or something of the like. I'm very happy with the result, though. Thanks for your hard work. Want to buy an 8bitdomain 4 switch kit

I installed a Longhorn mod today that I've had lying around for a month or so. Got it in trade from a friend of mine who populated the bare board. The rest of the work was done by myself.

Got pretty pissed as the first 2600 I tried the mod on was a broken system, serves me right for not testing it before the install
. Ended up installing it in the system that I had my 8bitdoman mod in and I'm very pleased with the results, especially the faux-stereo sound which sounds nothing short of beautiful in Pitfall II. Only problem I've found and it might be as a result of being on an high definition display, is that on some games with a lot of flicker (Wizard of Wor) at certain times the sprites will have horizontal lines through them during heavy flicker. I also noticed the same issue in the red shield around the Qotile in Yar's Revenge. I dunno if this is the mod pointing out weaknesses in the system, a result of usage on a high definition screen, or the fact that I used a Rev. 14 4 switch board for the mod. I've heard that the best results are obtained with a 6 switch system but I can't bring myself to sacrifice one for the sake of my own vanity

For what it's worth, sorry to hear about your mother's misfortune. I just had a cancer scare with my mother and had begun to make preliminary plans for a big sell-off, but thankfully further tests came back clear.

The asteroids in 2600 can S my D, and that's all I have to say on the matter.

Congratulations, you have just spent more on an Atari game than I have ever spent on a car. A winrar is you.

My protip. Don't die. I also find it funny that I've basically matched my Gyruss score on Xbox Live Arcade.

I was able to do 173k on Stella, I think I can do better playing on a television with an honest to god joystick as opposed to a laptop keyboard.

Get the hell off my thread
. Well, I'm running out of stuff to sell. Going to rummage around and see what I can find. I do have a 5200 power supply, a set of 5200 controllers of which are untested as I don't have a working 5200, a set of 7800 controllers, a 7800 power supply, and some other penny-ante stuff to list eventually. -
The only way to be sure if it is legit is to send it to VGA and have it graded and slabbed.... bwahahahahahahaha, couldn't say that with a straight face

-
Went ahead and added my Powerpak.
-
Added a Colecovision and 5200 dust cover.
-
7800 games sold. Will probably list some uncommon 2600 dupes I have laying around tomorrow.

Added 7800 games.

Listening to this guy's outbursts put me in mind of a cross between Timothy Treadwell and Tourette's Guy
