  1. I still have a beater box for Custer's Revenge and Motor Psycho. The Racing Pak is still available. I'm getting ready to add a bunch of loose carts to this thread in a bit.

  2. Looks that way. A sale price of $30 means that he was VERY negotiable :D. $30 is a pretty good price for a CIB Beat'em and Eat'em despite its box flaws. Almost every copy I've ever come across has had a rip on at least one of the cartridge retainer tabs.

  3. Tunnel Runner is now sold. I also have some beater boxes for Custer's Revenge, Motor Psycho, and Water Ski if anyone is interested. They're rough, but someone might be able to use them.

  4. In the case of Atari Corp. releases, you could probably reseal a box without anyone getting wise as the shrinkwrap never contained the all-important h-seam seal that Nintendo collectors cream in their pants over. However, pretty much every sealed Atari Corp. 2600/7800 game in existence has some bowing or other indications of stress due to constriction of the shrinkwrap over the years, meaning that a pristine example would likely raise a couple of eyebrows at this point.

  5. This latest Super Bowl took the crown from the last episode of MASH. By the way, MASH on 2600 with two players is a lot of fun, especially if you want to be a jerk and crash the other player's helicopter repeatedly.

  6. I'm likely going to have to sit this one out seeing as I'm already driving up to Detroit on the weekend of the 1st. I can't afford two upstate trips in two weeks. I've been to a couple CCAGs in the past and have always had a good time, especially considering the fact that it's in a VFW hall with cheap drafts coupled with the fact that Mike doesn't mind if you're a drunken asshat. CORGS in Columbus is on the 15th, so I am going to try to make the trip for it seeing as Columbus is a daytrip for me as opposed to Cleveland.

If anyone here bought it PM me. PLZ

Most of it is already parted out and listed back up on ebay. The seller isn't exactly the best person to deal with IMO so buy at your own risk.

Yeah, I've already seen some of the 7800 bits ($125 NIB Mean 18 lol) relisted as well. Had said seller not gotten the lot, another predatory reseller would have, most likely.

  8. You have to find the damn thing first before you start thinking about making any money on it amirite? I'm sure that there are guys here that would kill each other in a damned cage match to get their hands on the tooling just for bragging rights.

  9. Hello, Stick. I'm in Batavia and what I've read of your story checks out. I'm interested in coming out and helping you look for that mold seeing as Cincynoti has already volunteered his services as well. I actually grew up about 5 minutes from Felicity Plastics in Hamersville. Hell, I even tried to get a job there at one point when I was 16. I like where this thread is going.

  10. Mail carriers have a very bad habit of folding LP records and laserdiscs like tacos to get them to fit into mail boxes. If it does end up in a padded mailer, I sincerely hope that someone is smart enough to write FRAGILE - DO NOT BEND on it somewhere. But yeah, the h***r stuff is nothing new on ebay, but it just seems that ebay has recently given up on trying to police it. So long as they're getting their cut, it seems as if they don't care...
