  1. Ok since I didn't post update last week here's what I got: Amiga 2000 Amiga 500 (PAL) IDE4Zorro2 board ATX PSU 350w with -5v output to replace the A2k old PSU. KS 3.1 roms for A2000 WB 1.3 and 3.1 floppies set Amiga to ATX cable with switch for A2000 Amiga mouse (x2) Beige IDE CD-Rom drive for the A2000 Lots of connectors and other parts for projects What I sold: Catweasle Mk 4 Plus PCI interface (never even used it). SD card reader for C64/128. I'm out of the 8bit commodore collecting. Presently selling: Atari 130XE with Atarimax SIO2PC USB, one joystick, one SIO cable. I prefer my A800XL and have some internal expansions on the way for it. Presently on eBay and a link will be posted in the marketplace when I get back from work.
  2. I may be able to jerry-rig something in the mean time with what I have in my parts bin, but I'll take your mouse. The battery is gone and the A2k is working. I need to clean the drives and give it a good scrub. The mobo wasn't too bad apart for the battery area. The SCART->HDMI upscaller will do fine until I get an ECS or an RTG board. The image is stretched to 1280x720 but for typing code it'll do for the moment. At least it's lest hard on my old eyes than my A1080. And I have yet to try the GBS-8200. I'll also try the copper tape mod on it (GBS) to reduce RF interference. That one will give me a proper 4:3 or 5:4 aspect ratio. But I don't lose much for trying it since the board was $7 shipped... Like I said previously it's a rev 6 board but the serial number is a bit low being in the 6 thousands. Did Commodore reset the serial number counter with each board revision, or did they not produce that many 2000? Still waiting for the A500 from the UK which I'll be hooking up to my 60" TV, so once the ECS or RTG for the 2000 gets here the GBS or the SCART thingy will migrate to the A500.
  3. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say. Collectors spends thousands of dollars on a single used postage stamp. Those are even less useful than an Apple I computer. Yet, they also are rare and historically important. Atari computers and game console are also quite limited compared to a PS4 of modern PCs, yet here we are on a forum with an active community still using them
  4. An ECS is on the top of my list. I received the A2000 today. Let's say that the seller omitted some flaws in the system description. He neglected to mentioned that he didn't remove the battery and that some of the CPU pins were corroded... He also neglected to mention that one of the keyboard corner was broken (not visible on photos). I quickly snipped the battery off and cleaned the board and socket with vinegar. I also used some deoxit on the socket. I replaced the 68000 with one I had in my parts bin. It's a rev.6 board and the battery gunk was pretty much limited to about the size of a quarter with no trace damage visible. I've seen worst. The corner can also be fixed and it's on the bottom part of the keyboard so it's not readily visible. Now I need a mouse since my spare A1000 mouse won't fit (angled connector). I also have an ATX psu with -5v line on order. I do intend to bump it to KS 3.1 and can't wait to install my BED and start using it for real.
  5. Any particular model suggestion?
  6. Sad to hear about you Jag... I'm ok for the psu. I prefer going the atx way as I have be parts to make the cable. Another thing that I want for the A2000 is KS switcher.
  7. Hi, I got rid of my Amiga 1000 last month by trading it to a fellow member here. I wasn't really using it since it was limited to 512k and floppies and I wanted something easier to expand. Well, I was looking on eBay.co.uk for an A500 (PAL) to replace the A1000 and found one for a nice price. So far so good... But my shopping wasn't done! Since that A500 as a 220v PSU that I can't use I went back to eBay (.ca this time) looking for either a PSU or an ATX->Amiga cable which I didn't find, but that's ok, I can make one myself. But while browsing I also find an A2000 near where I live and also for a good price! So now, after getting rid of one Amiga I now have two coming in! I've already ordered an IDE4 Zorro 2 board for the A2000 and will get an 8meg ram expansion next week. I have stack of old IDE HDD and CD-ROM laying around. The machine comes with KS1.3, two 3.5" and one 5.25" floppy. I'll have to hunt for a scandoubler, but in the meantime I have both a cheap SCART->HDMI upscaler and a GBS-8200. I'll see if those give me an acceptable video quality before starting my quest... The A2000 will be my dev machine while the pal A500 will be for gaming.
  8. Unless this specific A2000 can be traced to a specific historical/scientific event it isn't worth more than any other A2000. I just bought one for a 10th of the price.
  9. Just need the cart now... I should get it soon.
  10. I didn't find any and sadly I'm not equiped to make you a copy of the actual floppy that I own.
  11. Will you solution include a liberal use of Ductape?
  12. There's nothing to clip on to I think. The best solution would be to use a HDD tray for a 5.25" bay. Some have the part to clip the plate on.
  13. I'm going for a similar setup. Lantronic -> wifi access point.
  14. So many joke could be made about probe insertion, but I'll stay quiet
  15. I think you missread... I'm selling a scart cable and a scart to hdmi converter, not a dreamcast console... Also, shipping to europe may cost you more than the cable and converter...
  16. Hi, For sale a complete and never used Catweasel MK4 Plus interface (PCI). The box was opened but the card was never installed or used. You can read up about it here: http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=842 I'm selling this for $90usd + shipping **** Sold outside of Atariage
  17. Hi, I have a Dreamcast SCART/RGB cable + SCART->HDMI converter for sale. You can have both for $30usd + shipping.
  18. A big thank you to Schmitzi and his big compatible floppy disk drive list! I was able to fin a couple of half heigth drives for my PEB.
  19. Hi, A user here asked me for if I was able to make him a CF7A TI-99HDX PIO cable adaptor. Since it isn't really profitable to make just one I intend to make a small batch of 5 (well 4 since one is reserved for the user who asked me to build him one) I only charge for the parts and shipping. This will be built on a small pcb made to fit inside a small plastic project box ( don't expect industrial quality please ) or if you prefer I can send it separated from the box and you can fit it in yourself or without the box, your choice. I expect the parts to be coming in January. I'll update this thread when they're ready.
  20. I don't think I'm really that interested in getting a Geneve... While I've always wanted to own a TI-99/4a setup, I never even known anything about the Geneve until I read about it here and reddit. Beside I've spent enough money for 2017 and reading some post from the guy who offered me the Geneve on Facebook, I'm not even sure if it's fully functional or not. He seem to have decided to sell it on eBay in any case.
  21. Hi, I've just ordered the parts to make myself a parallel to centronics printer cable. I'll have enough to make 2 extra if someone is in need of one. Those cables will be 5' ribbon cables with IDC connectors. With the holidays I don't really know when I'll receive the part but I'll bump this thread when the cables are ready. I could do more if I find a good deal on IDC 36pins Centronics male connectors.
