Looking for a reasonably priced Super Serial Card. I would like to get my Apple ][ Plus on the BBS scene, but I can't seem to find a SSC that is at a price I'm willing to spend. Just putting feelers out.

Bought two NES games from Chris. Was quick and painless. Thank you! I will enjoy these greatly!

No. This should die a horrible death in the eternal fire pits of Hell in the depths of Mercury, then hurled into the sun.
That would cost the taxpayers a lot of money. We could just find a metal trashcan and burn it in one of them.

I saw Laser 128 key stems on eBay for $3. I'm not sure if they even come close to what you're looking for, but I thought I'd put it out there.

I have had issues with disks lately, which caused me to invest in a Floppy Emulator. I have a copy of Star Trek: The Kobeyashi Alternative that runs fine to a point, but once it reaches the point it freezes. My first copy of Alien Downpour played once and then the next time I tried booting it up it failed to boot. Thankfully, I was able to get another copy that works great. I had issues with a modern copy of Oregon Trail that was put on a floopy. It like ST:TKA failed at a specific point. I am going to pick up a head cleaning disk to see if that might help. Any suggestions as to where to procure one would be greatly appreciated.

All Vic 20 games are made better when paired with 80s music. Also if you want to explore BBSs (Bulletin Board Services) I would suggest picking up a Wi-Fi modem such as the WiModem or strikelink modem, unless you want authenticity then shoot for a 1200 baud "dial up" modem. Then for the terminal program I suggest Mighty Term. It is pretty easy to connect a Wi-Fi modem to your router, especial if you have a WPS option.

But can I watch Netflix on it?

I hope this come to fruition, because it could be a nice alternative for those who like to collect games, but are not tech savvy to work on old machines if and when they break.

Tapper, Reactor, Tac-Scan, Star Trek: SOS, Fishing Deerby is a fun 2 player game. Lots to choose from.

Wait...,There was an unreleased Peanuts game? And there was a repro made of it? And I missed out by 6 years... Damn you time! You cruel mistress!

Best played in a wood paneled room with shag carpet. Drinking tab is optional. Other than that, have fun and enjoy what you pick up. Maybe hunt by company, or label type. But in the end as long as you're having fun and not going above your means, there isn't really any rhyme or reason.

I think the Vic-20 has been a great learning computer for me. If graphics is a high priority then this isn't really the system for you, but she's pretty basic and her games, while not exactly eye catching are still fun. There is a huge community over on the Denial forum that knows everything there is to know about the Vic and we have Carlsson who is a pretty close second to that. I've even connected her to a BBS or two with a wireless modem.

They still need a name for this device. 'Atari Dilligaf' has a nice ring to it.
Atari Irata
Atari Confefe
Atari 13400
Atari Doohickie

It would be cool if it was a hybrid of a PlayStation TV and a Streaming stick. Allows remote play of consoles, while providing its own service, and it has streaming services. So, you can play modern games, retro games, movies and tv, and its Atari branded. Oh well, one can hope.

I went to Hershey Park with my girlfriend today and after we did the normal theme park basics, I.e. rides, water park, over priced lunch, etc. We stopped into the arcade there. They had a bunch of old classics there. I got to play dragon's lair for the first time, and my girlfriend got to play Galaga which is her favorite game. Just thought I'd throw it out there if anyone is planning on visiting the park anytime soon.
Also, there is this new space invaders game that is more like space invaders meets missile command, it was a lot of fun as well. Just FYI

I'm gonna let y'all finish, but Ataribox is much better.
Having said that, do you guys think this will be as sought after? I mean given the ire that Nintendo created with NES mini, I feel people are going to not seek this out as much. Also is the SNES as iconic as the NES? It has a lot of fun games I loved the Donkey Kong series, but I feel like he hype won't be there. Thought? Opinions? Outlandish statements?

I have an ABC version of that selector. I think it works great. I get some RF interference on my VCS but I'm swimming in RF signals, so I expected as much. Everything else works fine on it I.e. My Vic 20 and TS 1000

Knowing that there was an Army of Darkness homebrew that I missed out on makes me sad. No boom stick for me.

This just conjures up images of people holding that day's Newspaper. Put a little ransom in your auction. This would require human moderators and a little extra work from sellers, but Swappa has an interesting way of verifying listings: They give the seller a code which the seller must put with the time in each picture taken. Then a Swappa staff member verifies the code matches and usually within the hour the listing goes live.
Also, instead of charging the seller they charge a small fee to the buyer. I don't know if that would work in your case, but it's working for them.

Does anyone know why the denial forum is down? It says it's being serviced, but it has been like that for a while. Just wondering if it will be back up, because it's a great resource for any Vic 20 user.
