  1. Star Trek The Next Generation- A Final Unity. It was made by Holobyte and was a late DOS point and click adventure. It made you feel like you were exploring the galaxy with the TNG crew. I loved that game and still do. Star Trek Captian's Chair was a 360 interactive bridge museum. I use to get lost in the idea of sitting on the bridge of my favorite bridges. I also enjoy Star Trek SOS for my Atari 2600 and am trying to get a copy for my Vic-20. Btw best topic ever!
  2. Am I wrong in thinking $18,000 might just be a bit much for an Apple III?

      It's $1,800, not $18,000.. That's a steal!

There should be some deals out there yet. Look for a IIe, they are still plentiful.

  5. The Wrath of Khan Director's Cut is coming to bluray finally! Pretty stoked, minus the whole Spock dying... thats pretty sad in any cut.

Just a little joke. BTW, they cut out the exchange "That young man is my son." "Fascinating" as Spock and Kirk clime the ladder. The scene is still there, just no dialogue.

  6. I picked these two up at my local used books and games store. Lots of fun to be had.
  7. Update: I decided to try speedscript 3.2 and I can get it to print a full line of text, however if I try to write a paragraph the printer acts like it's about to go Into position to print but nothing happens, the screen simply displays "Printing..." But it never prints the paragraph. Perhaps I have a bad copy of it on my SD card. I thought maybe it's the printer, but I have an actual copy of Money Decisions II and the printer works with it fine. So I'm not sure, but I thought you'd guys like to know about any progress.
  8. Do you think V'Ger spoke Basic? Could the wonder computer of the 1980s have saved lives and unnecessary screentime?

    1. 7800fan

      7800fan

V'Ger is older than that Commodore computer, I doubt that his PET could be useful for hacking V'Ger

*shifts glasses* Well actually, they don't give an actual date for the launch of Voyager 6, the probe that would later become V'Ger. And since Voyager 1 and 2 launched in 1977 it is not out of the realm of possibility that the probe was launched on or after they year 1980.

  10. If Jimmy cracks corn and nobody cares, then why does he keep doing it?

Because his master isn't there; that's why. His master's the only one that cares, obviously.

  11. thats cool, but I think if the holders for the joysticks were inclined slightly it might have given a more arcade feel to it.
  12. I have also started a small Commodore Vice-20 collection as well.
