  1. Wings of death is a fantastic shmup and it's easily one of the best games on the st. Definitely worth a look. Not sure if it's a hidden gem but definitely a gem.
  2. I'm not certain either but the system runs windows 10 so you should be able to find it by opening the start menu and search for system info. Or open settings, click on system, and then click on about.
  3. If this is the unit with the x8750 processor I'm definitely interested.
  4. I absolutely love this game! I first played it on my uncles Commodore 64 and more recently my Apple II GS. It's still fun to play and see how many people you can talk down to before one tries to shoot you.
  5. I'm pretty sure it's normal. I have a CFFA3000 and a transwarp GS, and lemmings is unplayable without the extra speed of the accelerator card. Havent tried TD 2.
  6. This looks great! I'm in for a copy as well.
  7. Thank you for the information and replying so fast. I'm going to try pulling the pins a bit and giving it a good clean.
  8. The pins do appear to be pushed in a bit so they're probably not making contact. Is Brasso good to clean the board and jamma connector with or not?
  9. Hope this is the right place as I've never posted a topic but I could use some input. I have a Cruisn Exotica machine that seems to have a bad jamma connection. Usually I have to adjust the jamma harness every time to get it working and most of the time the sound won't come on unless I find the "sweet spot". Does anyone here know how I can permanently fix this issue?
  10. This game looks amazing! I will most definitely be wanting a copy!
  11. I appreciate all the helpful responses. I believe I've located all the tools I need. Now to see if I can get it all to work together. That screenshot looks very nice. I've always enjoyed a good text adventure game.
  12. Thank you for the information.I completely agree that getting all the pieces together has so far been the most difficult part. When I follow the link one of the first tools is BLL but the link to download it doesn't go anywhere. It would be fantastic if everything was located in one spot with updated links. Does anyone currently have an Atari Lynx programming environment set up on a Windows 7 64 bit computer? And if so perhaps lend some pointers on how to get up and running on one?
  13. I'm quite late to this topic and hoping this is in the right place. I'm attempting to write Atari Lynx games but am having problems starting. First off, my coding experience is limited to the likes of visual basic, apple basic,st basic, ect. So as of now I'm working with some C code and would like to know the basics as looking at "the diary of a lynx developer" left me with too many questions. Whats the best text editor for writing lynx programs? Whats a good compiler? After attempting to go through the "hello world" example I couldn't make it work let alone convert it to a proper lnx file and run it on Handy. So I ask the wise Lynx programmers here to please give me guidance on this issue. Maybe soon I can share some simple hombrew with the AA community.
  14. Iron Soldier is easily one of the best Jaguar games and in my opinion one of the best mech games I've ever played. It's easy to jump in and start demolishing things but there is also a depth to it that requires the proper equipment and tactics to complete the missions. There are multiple ways to finish each level and I really love games that have that open and non linear feeling. So yes, this wonderful game certainly lives up to the hype and expectations that the cover precedes.
  15. Today my SD cart arrived and I've just gotten done testing it.. This device is simply amazing! It feels like Christmas has come early this year. Thank you for bringing this SD cart to the Atari community SainT.
  16. Just paid, can't wait to try out this fantastic bit of kit! 😀
  17. The Atari Jaguar is absolutely not a bad console. Was it as popular as everything else thus gaining a positive public image? Not at all. But the bottom line is if you enjoy any era Atari games then you'll most certainly find the Jaguar a wonderful addition to your collection.
  18. It's everyone's own choice. For me it was a no brainer since if you find this game anywhere right now it costs upwards of two hundred dollars. I don't understand why everyone thinks so negatively, have a bit of faith that some things do work out.
  19. I placed my order the first day it became available, thanks to this great community, and after talking with SFT it seems very likely that there will be one last run.
  20. You can definitely count me in for a pre-order. Waiting until 2018 for this fantastic game is totally copacetic.
  21. This game reminds me of a fantastic little gem made by a company named after a certain basic shape.. It looks amazing and I would love to purchase a copy as soon as one is available!
  22. Can I still get a cased cart or am I too late?
  23. This looks really cool. I hope I haven't missed the pre-order.
  24. I think that starting a Jaguar collection from scratch will be expensive but ultimately worth it. The scene is still active and there are some fantastic games on it that you can't play anywhere else. Go for it!
