This is the controller I use. When playing a Colecovision emulator, I press the Mode button to make a light appear so I can use the d-pad; when playing NES games, the d-pad is default and you don't need to press that Mode button (unless you want to switch to the analog sticks).

8,910 Skill 1. Looks like me and Joe are tied for now. Not a bad game, with the right controller I suppose..What controller is everyone else using?
I'm using a Logitech gamepad. With the press of a button, you can switch between modes that let you use the analog sticks or the d-pad. I use the d-pad.
Edit: Have you tried different controllers on your Colecovision hardware? I remember you and Ed saying the roller controller was great for Kaboom; I'd assume that would be good for this game if it works for it.

Gamester81 uploaded a video about the CollectorVision Phoenix. I hope this helps it get more exposure/recognition.

It is blatantly obvious that some of these posts here are just intended solely for idiotic drama and to plant the seed of doubt in potential backers. Having a wish list is one thing, but demanding things and assuming things of which you have no knowledge is another. Also assuming those who are NOT on the project are mind-readers is insane. Questions that were already answered by TPR's videos needn't be asked; other questions - why this or that - should be directed to those on the project itself; trying to pick fights with TRP and others who are not on the project is absurd.

Tutankham [skill 1]: 82,164 pts.
I probably should have read the manual first, but after several levels, I accidentally discovered that pressing the left and right fire buttons at the same time uses smart bombs that disposes of all enemies on the screen (the lamp indicates how many of them you have). With this knowledge, I figure I should do better next time I give it a try.

I wish I could have played more games and rounds, but there is this thing called "Work"
I tried to find a clip of The Simpsons where Bart says work is for chumps, and Homer replies, "Son, I am proud of you. I was twice your age when I figured that out."; unfortunately, this is one of the few times YouTube has let me down.

Congrats, Brian!
Always fun to participate! I enjoyed this season thoroughly and am glad to compete with such fine players. I know for a fact that Bmack and NCG are very good at many games, so it's challenging to keep up with them at times. That consistency was key for Bmack this season, as he blew me out of the water early in the season in games I struggled in. Joe and Ed had some impressive scores as well. Win or lose in any game or round, it's always fun to play, and sometimes the competition from such fine players as yourselves helps the rest of us not only strive to improve, but play some games more that we otherwise don't often play (and we come to appreciate such games more).
Looking forward to the next season. Just like all other facets of life, experiences are more fun when you have people/community to share them with. Being a member here at AtariAge is perhaps the most fun I've had with the Internet. You all are awesome!

This is straight out of 'The Last Action Hero'.
Benedict has drawn his revolver on his own boss after Slater thwarts his plans again]
Vivaldi: What is this, Benedict? First you're my friend, now you turn a... [makes twirling motion with finger] 360 on me?!
Benedict: 180, you stupid spaghetti-slurping cretin! 180! If I did a 360, I'd go completely around and end up back where I started.
Vivaldi: [confused] ...What?
Benedict: Trust me. [shoots Vivaldi]
I wonder if Leo The Fart rubbed off on the brain fart that happened in this thread.

Kudos on not going with the licensing deal. First and foremost, this is YOUR blood, sweat, and tears going into the project. You deserve all the credit for your work and you do not need any misconceptions about you trying to cling to a name from the past to generate sales. The quality of your work will speak for itself! Furthermore, you'll get all the credit you deserve for your work and NONE of it will go to the self-promoting leeches who tried to stick "their" name onto it.
This is an exciting day for Colecovision fans! We readily look forward to more news/details as they become available. In the hopes of reaching a bigger market than you initially targeted, it would be prudent to have some questions brought up and answered for those who are not in the know about this project. For instance, people may want to know what examples of controlles would be able to be used on this console. Some might wonder if a Super Game Module is needed to play the SGM games, or if the system itself handles such games. I'll have to take a look at your website to see if such questions were already answered (it's been a while since I've browsed it), but it's something for you to keep in mind.
Congratulations!

Fall 2018 Knockout Tourney - Round 3 - Strike It !

In my 34k run, I had six or seven animals (I think six, if I remember correctly); I also nailed every extra ball in the chance game. Getting those extra chances makes a huge difference, as I usually lose several lives on level six. I didn't last very long on the next level, and was surprised by how different it looks from the first six.
