Tutankham [skill 1]: 82,164 pts. I probably should have read the manual first, but after several levels, I accidentally discovered that pressing the left and right fire buttons at the same time uses smart bombs that disposes of all enemies on the screen (the lamp indicates how many of them you have). With this knowledge, I figure I should do better next time I give it a try.

I tried to find a clip of The Simpsons where Bart says work is for chumps, and Homer replies, "Son, I am proud of you. I was twice your age when I figured that out."; unfortunately, this is one of the few times YouTube has let me down. -
Results from ColecoVision HSC Season 11

Congrats, Brian! Always fun to participate! I enjoyed this season thoroughly and am glad to compete with such fine players. I know for a fact that Bmack and NCG are very good at many games, so it's challenging to keep up with them at times. That consistency was key for Bmack this season, as he blew me out of the water early in the season in games I struggled in. Joe and Ed had some impressive scores as well. Win or lose in any game or round, it's always fun to play, and sometimes the competition from such fine players as yourselves helps the rest of us not only strive to improve, but play some games more that we otherwise don't often play (and we come to appreciate such games more). Looking forward to the next season. Just like all other facets of life, experiences are more fun when you have people/community to share them with. Being a member here at AtariAge is perhaps the most fun I've had with the Internet. You all are awesome! -

I wonder if Leo The Fart rubbed off on the brain fart that happened in this thread. -
CollectorVision Phoenix Game Console

Kudos on not going with the licensing deal. First and foremost, this is YOUR blood, sweat, and tears going into the project. You deserve all the credit for your work and you do not need any misconceptions about you trying to cling to a name from the past to generate sales. The quality of your work will speak for itself! Furthermore, you'll get all the credit you deserve for your work and NONE of it will go to the self-promoting leeches who tried to stick "their" name onto it. This is an exciting day for Colecovision fans! We readily look forward to more news/details as they become available. In the hopes of reaching a bigger market than you initially targeted, it would be prudent to have some questions brought up and answered for those who are not in the know about this project. For instance, people may want to know what examples of controlles would be able to be used on this console. Some might wonder if a Super Game Module is needed to play the SGM games, or if the system itself handles such games. I'll have to take a look at your website to see if such questions were already answered (it's been a while since I've browsed it), but it's something for you to keep in mind. Congratulations! -
It looks like just the right speed and the movements are so precise with that roller controller. Love it! I seem to keep hovering in the 550-point range and don't like how fast the buckets move as I play. Not saying I'd be on par with you in this game, but it's interesting what a huge difference a controller can make in some games. This is exactly the kind of game that should be made for motion controls with today's modern consoles.

While I support the homebrew scene and their endeavors, I simply will NOT buy anything that gives even a single penny to Cardillo and his cronies. Does having the Coleco name or logo on something matter to me? Is it important to me in my life? Is it important for me to have on a video game product? The answer: A RESOUNDING NO. I bear no ill will towards any of the homebrew developers, but I am disappointed in any acts of making a deal with the devil who not only made it perfectly clear that he doesn't care about the homebrew developers, but also that said devil's only potential market (the very community he shat on and picked fights with). You don't need the Coleco name or logo. Let the quality of your work speak for itself. There is no need to empower Cardillo in even the slightest way. My refusal to buy anything that has a licensing deal with Cardillo is not a refusal of support for homebrew developers, but rather a reinforcement of my support for the developers and the community. It is also a reminder that I stand by my principles. I still wish Collectorvision success, but I and other like-minded individuals simply will not contribute to any act that puts a single penny in the pockets of the aforementioned leeches who shat on the community.
