Whatshisname sold repro GI Joe parts, didn't he?
And quickly sold them for much lower than his initial asking price after the knowledge got out there that he was doing it; clearly an attempt to get them sold and off the listings quickly and sweep his own wrongdoings under the rug.

Cosmic Avenger [skill 4]: 29,480 pts
Took several tries to get this score. Still not my personal best for Skill 4 (had 35,380 when I participated in a contest back in 2016). Will be giving this another shot this week!

I'm excited about this and love the fact that I don't need to get a PS4 to play it! Loved the Crash Bandicoot games back in the PS1 days (had 1 and 2, but never played 3). Thoroughly enjoyed PS1 games like Crash Bandicoot 1 and 2, Twisted Metal 2, and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.

Any MK8 Deluxe racers here? Not looking for "pro rooms" or "clans" or any of that other garbage; just looking to enjoy racing online. If enough members here are interested, I could create an AtariAge tournament (unless one already exists).

You weren't kidding about Skill 4 being much harder than Skill 3. 25,950 points on my first time playing Skill 4.

Is it just me or is Skill 4 a whole heck of a lot harder than Skill 3?
Going to find out for myself later tonight. I do know you start Skill 4 with one less life than you do on Skill 3.

007 James Bond (Beginner): 41,450 pts.
Beat the game without losing a single life on the final run in the video. I believe I figured out the bonus scoring. It does not account for the life you are playing on, but rather the ADDITIONAL spare lives you have. With all five lives intact - four additional lives in reserve - I got a 12,000-point bonus when beating the game this time (3,000-point bonus per spare life for 4 additional lives = 12k).
Before touching the ship: 24,450
After touching ship: 29,450
Beating game: 41,450 pts

43,600 (Beginner level) 005 Completed game
This port is odd in that even with the successful completion of the final board the message is still "Goodbye Mr. Bond", instead of "Good show, Mr. Bond". With "Goodbye" usually indicating failure and "Good Show" a successful completion. Dugger's video clearly shows the bonus points awarded and rating of 005 after docking with the sunken ship.
I do believe though the complete finished rating on advanced is 007 and 005 for Beginner. Anything below those indicate incomplete at the final board, usually from touching the ship anywhere else other then the antenna relay.
I don't know if remaining lives figures into the bonus score at the end or not. It is something I'm curious to figure out, however. I started the final level with 21,750 points; I had 24,450 points a moment before touching the ship; after touching the ship, I completed the level with 29,450 points (seems like every level's goal is a 5,000-point bonus). After completing the level with 29,450 points, you see that the game is over and my final score is 38,450 points (a bonus of 9,000 points).
Do you all remember if you got a 9,000-point bonus when beating the game? I'm curious to see if everybody gets the same amount or if remaining lives factors into the number awarded.

007 James Bond (Advanced): 20,000 pts. 34 minutes of playing for a pathetic 20,000 points. Damn you, Moonraker. The 20k-point run is the final run in the video.

James Bond 007 (Beginner): 38,450 pts. [+3]. Beat the game. My very last session was the successful one in the video, so it should be near the end of the video.
Hey NCG, if you're open to suggestions for this round: since it's impossible to attain more points after beating the game, how about a +8 bonus to everybody who beats the game?

James Bond 007 - 39,800
So this game ends when you complete the last mission?
Apparently so. I just beat the game myself moments ago. Uploading the video to YouTube right now. Will post the score and video here in a few minutes.

At first I thought duncantomi's Skill 4 Pepper II record would fall, but It is a tough score to beat. Dugger takes this round, congrats! Thanks to everyone who played!
Very difficult, indeed. I haven't had much time to play thus far this season, but I put a lot of effort into this game in this round. There were times when I thought I would get Duncan's record, only to quickly lose multiple lives. Failing to break the record wasn't from a lack of effort, that's for sure; I played many sessions for over an hour yesterday and just couldn't do it. It's quite an impressive record.

Pepper II (Skill 4): 166,440 pts. I was SO CLOSE to getting 200k. I almost completed the last of the four puzzles on the second stage; had I finished it, I would have started stage 3 with at least 188k or 189k. Successful run begins 1:10 into the video.
-
Skill 4: 153,630 pts [+5]
Edit: successful run begins 46 seconds into the video.

Skill 4: 130,790 pts [+4]
Bah! I can do better than this, but it's a matter of playing over and over again until you get more efficient at it. The 130k was achieved in the second run in the video; second run begins afer the game over at the 3:50 mark.

Mouse Trap (Skill 1): 3,120,480 pts [score 3 million or more = +5]
Decided I was done playing at that point. Here are the million-point rollover details...
1 million: around 37:402 million: around 1:11:103 million: around 1:44:25I might take another shot at Skill 3. Won't be easy to top Bmack's score. Mighty impressive, Bmack!

His asking price would be too damn high because that moron has delusions of grandeur about how much money there is to be made in a niche market (the very market he alienated).
