Don't even bother trying to understand how he "thinks" or "markets". I'm sure there are some people with fond memories of the Rainbow Brite cartoon as little girls, but I'm in 100% agreement with you and others that Cardillo thinking getting this license is "Huge" news is laughable. -

Now that you mention that, did any of the arcade minis back in the day have scrolling capabilities? I imagine this game will be a grid-based game like Super Metroid or The Guardian Legend, so I have a hard time picturing it being an arcade mini game. -

A very valid point, but keep in mind that there are Retron/Hyperkin consoles that play those old cartridges. I don't know how many people have those, but they are available on the net. -

I believe it was Andre Gide who once said he would rather be hated for what he is than to be loved for what he is not. Don't worry, Cardillo, you're still hated for what you are and what you're not but pretend to be. -
I know how to do math, thank you very much. I was having a little fun for our Canadian friends on here.

Reading, PA. It's about 469 miles away from Montreal, and.... *does the math* 7 million kilometers away from Montreal.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Take a sledgehammer to your kids' Xbox and play the real classics!

LOL. The expo was a joke to begin with and the circus Cardillo created made it even worse. Now THIS? Wow. I just think this will turn more potential ticket buyers away; people want to know what they're paying for. -
Gene Simmons must be related to Chris Cardillo somehow. Asses of a feather flock together. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2017/06/15/gene-simmons-of-kiss-tries-to-trademark-the-sign-language-gesture-for-love/?tid=ss_fb&utm_term=.f97ace23abe2

Why doesn't the asshat just trademark the entire English language as well as ASL? So we can all pay him a royalty for having the audacity to share the Earth with Mr. Gene Simmons? No talent media whore is all he is.

I like KISS a bit, but Simmons can go screw off...I still remember when he sued King Diamond for wearing face make up,(as if Alice Cooper hadn't done it before KISS anyway)...What a dickweed!

They have not. Pretending wouldn't be a good gesture; it is insulting and nothing less than a retraction is acceptable. They've already burned their bridges and made things worse. The fact that this topic still has so many pages and is still ongoing makes it quite obvious. There is no point in even trying to understand how a moronic bully is a moronic bully, HE JUST IS. -

I don't think it matters what rights - if any - Ben signed away in a contract when the contract was drawn under false pretenses. -
Some of my favorites such as Oil's Well, Threshold, and River Raid apparently were not arcade games before being available on the Colecovision. Dig Dug and Pac-Man (AtariSoft versions for both games) were quite good, so it's disappointing that they didn't officially release for the Colecovision. I didn't hang out much in the arcades, so there are probably games I wasn't aware were arcade games. It's funny: you have trouble picking JUST 25 and I've only managed to name 24 in my list below. Had Oil's Well and River Raid been arcade games, they'd definitely make my list here. BurgerTime Carnival Centipede Cosmic Avenger Defender Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Jr. Frenzy Frogger Galaxian Gorf Jungle Hunt Lady Bug Mouse Trap Mr. Do! Pepper II Q*Bert Spy Hunter Star Wars: The Arcade Game Tapper Time Pilot Turbo Venture Zaxxon

When you said to TPR, "A winner is you!" Pro Wrestling was an NES game that had this screen after every win (picturing whichever wrestler you used). -

It's also almost 23,000 more than Cardillo has. Just saying. -

Yeah, he threw one hell of a temper tantrum and started posting links to some Atari forum that he claimed is the definitive Atari forum; he deleted the post after a bunch of comments posted links to AtariAge instead. -

Simply put: it's all about ego, image and control for Cardillo. His ego will be his own source of self destruction. Don't forget that moron attacked PatTheNes punk and actually commented about making a PatTheNesPunk fan page (sure enough, he makes a clone Colecovision Fan fan page because he's pissed off that Colecovision Fan has way more FB likes). Then after Albert disagreed with Cardillo's whining about being "bullied", Cardillo attempted to stir people away from the AtariAge forums by creating a new forum for Atari and calling his new forums the defenitive Atari forums (LMAO!). It is self-evident in all of his actions thus far that he is all about satisfying his own massive ego. -

No kidding. When I and others post photos of our high scores on his page, Robb also shares those posts so they get more exposure for us players. He also helps another FB group I'm a part of and thoroughly enjoy (I'm sure Andy appreciates everything you've done, Robb). Cardillo is the exact opposite as all of his actions have been about ego, image, and control. Robb takes joy in others' successes and enjoyments! Sorry to talk about you in the third person while quoting one of your posts, but if you didn't already know it, you should now: I and many others appreciate everything you have done. Our common passions become enriched by the ability to share them with others who have the same passions. -

You can destroy it by running the diamonds into it; however, there will always be more. Edit: I now see he was asking about the black-and-yellow one. No, you can't destroy that one, but you can stun it with the diamonds. The all-black ones can be destroyed, however. -

Ah, I see now. So Cardillo retweeted somebody's retweet of Robb's post. So in addition to being a charlatan, Cardillo/ColecoHoldings is inept, egotistic, and oblivious (among many other things). By retweeting a retweet of Robb's tweet, he's basically endorsing the very page he tried to shut down. Well, nobody ever accused him of being smart. -

Nah. Saving that for the next time they post a new video. By the way, awesome Pro Wrestling reference you made in one of your other posts! -

The fact that Cardillo stole TPR's image was bad enough; the fact that he also stole his words from the post was even more comical. Edit: Awesome reference to Pro Wrestling, Flojo! -

The smudged Colecovision name is more proof that it's Robb's photo. "The devil is in the details." In this case, the devil's too much of a dumb ass to pay attention to the details. Way to go, Cardillo! You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar yet again. -

The 63% increase in one week is perhaps the biggest red flag of all. Over 1,000 "members" with a 63% increase in one week for a dead system that most people don't give a crap about the past 30 years? Whatever. I bet Drake Sabitch and the entire Sabitch finally joined in on it, too!
