  1. Loved River Raid. It was one of my favorites on the Colecovision, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it looks and plays wonderfully on the Atari 2600 as well. In fact, I think I prefer the 2600 version (I rarely prefer anything over a Colecovision port). The reason I'm really commenting here: I'm glad to see that some people include subtitles for their videos. As a hearing-impaired person who has had severe hearing loss since the age of one, it is difficult for me to listen to things on the Internet. Note: hearing is a spectrum. Making things LOUDER doesn't mean I understand what is being said! With my hearing aid, I have no problem HEARING something being loud enough; the issue is clarity. Just because I hear one's voice doesn't mean I hear the SPECIFIC SOUNDS that make it easy for you to figure out what word was said. In a fact-to-face setting, I function as normally as anybody else when it comes to hearing/listening; however, hearing over phones/intercoms, computers and any other piece of techno gadgets can be difficult to understand. For starters, the sound quality is different when you're listening to a piece of technology; furthermore, not everybody has good diction and speaks clearly. You ever go to a drive-through at a fast-food place and have a difficult time understanding what the employee on the intercom is saying to you? You hear them, but you can't make out every word clearly; that's what it feels like to me when I try to listen to human voices on computers and phones. It becomes a guessing game where you hear bits and pieces and have to fill in the blanks. THANK YOU for being one of those people who put subtitles in their videos so that no part of it is missed when listening. Not only is it a help to people with hearing loss, but it also means you open the doors to a possibly much wider audience for yourself.
  2. Hey! NO FAIR! I saw from another topic that you have experience in construction; ergo, it's only logical to assume you've had at least 15 years of dodging aliens and falling objects!
  3. Is that Mookie quote for real?
  4. This is the last thing I will say about this topic and this pathetic immature Cardillo clown. After this, I'm done with this topic and the moron who was the cause of it. Dear Cardillo: pull your lips over your head and SWALLOW. NOBODY wants to deal with you. Can't you get that through your thick head by now? As a RESULT OF YOUR BEHAVIOR, YOUR ACTIONS, nobody wants to deal with you. Any anger or resentment thrown your way was NOT WITHOUT PROVOCATION, which YOU alone have caused. You're asking people to PM you because you KNOW that you are so in the wrong and you are DESPERATE for SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, to agree with you and your warped views. The people you should be talking to are the Homebrew developers and publishers; if they don't want to talk to you, then you know why; it's because of YOU and the ass you've been throughout this entire circus that YOU created. You are wasting your time and everybody else's. GET LOST. If anybody wants to contact you, they will do so directly. Stop trolling for sympathy when YOU alone created this entire mess. You go back to being the hack you are while the rest of us go back to playing and enjoying the games. *mic drop*
  5. Jumpman Junior [speed 3]: 13,200 pts (+2) Jumpman Junior obviously isn't one of my better games, but it's still fun to play. Tomi's record for that is INSANE. The "Figurits Revenge" level is always a pain for me; I always lose several lives in it. Game over on level 7 as one of the zig-zagging stones got me while I was climbing. I think I was very close to hitting 15k. I absolutely love the fact that Jumpman Junior is one of those games which displays the settings you're playing on (SP 3).
  6. Pitfall 2: 179,000 pts (again) with my new-and-improved ID tag. Took me a few tries to get this score as I had to reset every time I ran into a bat or a dragon. Looking at the map you gave me after posting this score, I see I keep missing the diamond/ring. I'm guessing that thing's worth 20,000 points; I see no way to get it unless the only way to get it is to do a running jump from another ledge above it? Getting a perfect score is extremely difficult in this game.
  7. Coleco once again taking credit for a game that isn't theirs by saying that they're "officially releasing" the game. Cardillo's brother from another mother - Fred - apparently thinks everybody at AtariAge is an idiot. It's comical seeing those morons continuing to damage the Coleco brand.
  8. Squish 'em is a fun game, but it's also one of those "Damn it, I know I can do better than this!" games where you make stupid mistakes and lose 2-3 lives in 20 seconds.
  9. Squish 'em Sam: 43,540 pts BONUS POINTS Play all 4 games and post a pic of each [+5] 50,000 in Mr. Do's Castle [+3] 35,000 in Squish 'em Sam [+3] 150,000 in Pitfall 2 [+5] Failure to even get +2 in Jumpman Junior [+50 pity points]
  10. If the good lord had intended us to walk, he would have never invented roller skates.

      GoldLeader

Last night some friends and exes visited and brought over some beer...We kicked back on my sunporch and on the stereo I played Meco's theme from Star Wars. Why you ask? What's the point? We all remember roller skating to that song when we were grade school kids at Roller City (Our local skating rink)... Good Stuff! :)

  11. It is a time for great food, merriment, and singing! Who can take up his lies Sprinkle it with manure too Cover it with no facts and threaten you The cardo man, the cardo man Oh, the cardo man can Because he's a troll who wished he were good Who can take Coleco Wrap it up in a lie Watch the brand burn and see it quickly die The cardo man, the cardo man The cardo man can Because he's a troll who wished he were good
  12. Most impressive, especially the perfect game in Pitfall 2. Running under the little red dragons is difficult sometimes.
  13. Now THAT is being reasonable. I can't speak for the Homebrewers, but I feel confident those are terms they can agree to!
  14. I'm no grader, nor have I ever had anything graded (I'm a player, not a collector). Nevertheless, I'll take a wild stab in the dark in assessing this. There is obvious damage on the box/case for the game. I don't know if it's water damage or what, but it's evident in the images; even the images that show only the white part have visible damage. Looks like the cartridge and the instruction manual look okay. The damage on the box is so evident, however, that I'd probably grade it as a 3 on a scale of 1-10. Anything I say is pure speculation on this, however.
  15. NO. NO. NO. A THOUSAND TIMES, NO. How come the ONLY way to reach any so-called "agreement" is to erase any trace of you ever being an ass and your own wrongdoings? You're the clueless one here.
  16. For he's a jolly good fellow He's very much unlike Cardillo Robb's a jolly good fellow Which nobody can deny! AMEN! Now let's get back to the spirit of our community and enjoy playing our games and sharing our experiences. Let the troll starve.
  17. For argument's sake, let's say you're telling the truth there. It doesn't excuse your other actions. Not picking a fight here, I'm just telling you how it is.
  18. I cannot decide what the fan page does, as I'm just a member. I cannot speak for everybody, but I can give a summation on what I believe the gist of it is: To my understanding, you have no legal say in what content can and cannot be developed for an old defunct system; it's not yours. They can make whatever they want for the Colecovision system, whether you like it or not. You can ask the homebrew developers not to use the Colecovision name or logo on their box art and cartridges (if you indeed do own the trademark). If I remember correctly, they already plan not to use the logo/symbol from this point forward (it's up to you to speak with them, however). No, you cannot ask the fan page to remove content. The fan page is not responsible for the development of the games. You're barking up the wrong tree there. The reason this whole thing blew up in your face is because instead of first talking to the developers who made those games, you acted like a loose cannon and attacked the fan page! Instead of being an ass to the developers, the fan page, AND THE COMMUNITY - your potential market - as a whole, what you should have done was peacefully addressed the makers/publishers of the games first. A simple, "I request that you do not use the logo/symbol without our permission first" would have sufficed. But NO, you chose to be an ass and take immediate action and threats against everybody under the sun. The fact that you also went through improper channels - contacting a wife's personal FB page when you already have the developer's information - makes you look like an even bigger douchebag than you've already shown yourself to be. I'm not the one making deals here. I'm just a player who loves the Colecovision and all the memories I had with it; I'm merely telling you what an ass you've been and how YOU screwed up the whole thing.
  19. Everybody else already has moved on and the people who made the games said they won't use the logo from this point forward. The person who hasn't moved on is Cardillo and Coleco Holdings because they refuse to retract their false claims against the fan page (which has wrongful trademark strikes against them).
  20. No. What you offered was a closed environment where nobody can ascertain what understandings/agreements you and he may or may not have, because it's off-the-record. As I already stated before, there is no reason for him to have any meeting with you because it's pretty straightforward: you made false claims against the fan page. All you have to do is retract the false claims against the fan page and take up your issues with the responsible parties. I cannot make it any clearer than that; the fact that your mind cannot comprehend something so simple is PATHETIC. For a so-called businessman, you're sorely lacking in simple comprehension. You also have a pathetic inability to admit when you're wrong about something; you merely just deflect as much as you can to avoid issues. Any sane employer would not want a person like that working for them.
  21. With how much bull you've been slinging throughout this topic and how you botched interactions with the community, I don't think you're qualified to interpret anything and be taken seriously. Also, quit deflecting and answer the real questions. Oh, that's right: you refuse to do so because you're an immature pissant who refuses to address the real issues.
