I don't know anything about programming the O2, but I know there are quite a few homebrews that push the Odyssey beyond what I thought it could to.  For example H.E.R.O looks pretty good as shown in the video here:

Considering its small user base, the homebrew scene for the Odyssey 2/Videopac is surprisingly active.  For low level programming info you really need to visit https://videopac.nl/forum/index.php

 

Off the top of my head, Puzzle Piece Panic has polyphonic music and I know there are games larger than 8KB.

I missed a bunch of new threads last summer, so sorry for the late reply.  To get this to run on CentOS 9 Stream I had to install the freealut and freeglut packages.  I got freealut by downloading the EL7 RPM from
    https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/freealut/freealut/index.html
freeglut was available in a built-in Repositories

dnf install ~/Downloads/freealut-1.1.0-21.el7.x86_64.rpm
dnf install freeglut

It's been a couple decades since I looked at any assembly, I assumed it'd only get more complicated the more instructions you have.  Very cool little game.  I tried to pay you on itch.io, but it says you're not accepting PayPal.  Definitely the best Linux x86_64 assembly Odyssey port I've ever played!

You do need to be signed in videopac.nl (but accounts are free).

 

That's some impressive hardware hacking.    It's strange how some of the video output is missing though.  In addition to SELECT GAME, there should be text in the Speedway and Spin Out games.

Cool stats.  Weird that your web dev tools don't detect browser type.  I'd think that'd be a pretty basic stat to have.

Love the retro themed website.  I normally use Firefox on Linux on an old desktop built way back in 2009.  I wasn't getting the CRT effects, so I loaded your site in Chrome instead and I got the CRT effects. That's so awesome.  Nice little game too.

 

One suggestion, you might want to have some sort of "to buy click here to email me" on the product pages.

 There was a homebrew game that came with a controller coupler similar to this, was that Mars Menace?  I think it was basically a big tray the controllers sat in.

 

If you attached it to the bottom of the controllers it looks like the lip might hit your wrists and be annoying.

[Best Odyssey2/Videopac Multiplayer Games?]

Monkeyshines is great as a competitive or cooperative multiplayer.  You can even get three players working at the same time with one person working on the keyboard to add/remove pieces on the screen.  I view this game as a distant ancestor of Towerfall.

+2 for Quest for the Rings (haven't played Conquest of the World yet)

Showdown In 2100 AD is one of my favorite Odyssey games.  Love playing this against my brother or my kids.  There's certainly skill in this game, but the randomness of the ricochets off the trees adds a lot of fun too.

Looks great.  I'm surprised the the value of so many games went down.  I thought more people were into retro video game collection so values would go up.  But maybe the Odyssey2 is still unknown enough to avoid that problem?

[Defective replacement power supply?]

I ordered the Triad WAU090-1200 from Newark and it works fine with my Odyssey2.  Do you have another power supply you can try?  If the Triad is the only one that doesn't work I'd guess it's simply a bad Triad power supply.  From http://www.the-nextlevel.com/odyssey2/faq/essentials/#12

I have to respectfully disagree with the anonymous critic/artist on this one.  IMHO this is one of the best two player Odyssey games (right up there with Monkeyshines).  The randomness of the ricochets really ups the fun value for me.  Whether it's my brother or my daughter, this game gets played every time I break out the Odyssey.

Keyboard creations is no joke!  The good ol' O2 was rocking digital signage way before its time.  At Cisco Live this week they bragged about how their displays can be used for digital signage.  They've got nothing on my 40 year old Odyssey 2!
