  1. I am currently working on a total list of Atari 2600 games that has cart number, title, either complete or prototype, and year. I am about 25% complete in puting in the years. It will be available soon.
  2. I welcome WB to make games, but they should not make the mistakes that previous companies did in the past like Atari... But I think it's cool if they tried to get in the business with their own console... hmm...
  3. What if you could design your own Video Game Console to compete with the other systems out there... and how would you design it to try to dethrone the king of Video Games now...?
  4. Well, I am not a programmer... I don't know how to program 2600 Carts, or for that matter wouldn't be able to encode my game... too advanced... if one of those Homebrew Programmers would, that be great!
  5. Which do you like better? Space Invaders or Asteroids as a classic?
  6. here's my idea of a Homebrew game. Since I can't program, I hope someone will. Bullet Chase? CX-26201 (Homebrew Game?) © 2004 Jonathan Watson 1. STORY The great peaceful planet of Kourzin is under attack by the evil planet of Hawklon! They have invaded the city of Sharzo which is nothing more than a series of difficult mazes! You have been selected to defeat the enemies of Kourzin! The President of Kourzin had said to you, "Our fate is in your hands young one!" So now get in your tank and defeat thy enemy! 2. GAMEPLAY NOTE: Bullet Chase is for One or Two Players. Joy Sticks are required! The objective of Bullet Chase? is to manuver yourself around the maze eating bullets. be careful, the red tanks can fire lasers at you and damage you! If you are hit five times you will die! So make sure you avoid the lasers. In the maze there is Power Cells! There's only four in each maze so use them wisely! Once used, you'll be able to destroy your enemy by touching them! be careful and move quick! Your special power won't last long! Once each maze is cleared, you'll move to the next maze! Good luck! 3. USING THE CONTROLLERS Use your Joystick Controller with this ATARI Game Program cartridge. Be sure to plug the controller cables firmly into the jacks at the back of your Video Computer System game. Hold the controller with the red fire button to your upper left toward the television screen. Use the LEFT CONTROLLER jack for this one-player game. And use the RIGHT CONTROLLER jack for the two player game. See Section 3 of your owner's manual for further details. Use the Joystick Controller to: - Move through the maze and collect bullets! - Avoid the red tanks until Power Cell has been used! - Once Power Cell is used, destroy thy enemy! When manuering in the maze, move your blue tank to go any direction that you disire by eating bullets and storing them up for later! When you are ready, to destroy your enemy, go to one of the Power Cells and touch it. It will supercharge your tank making you able to either touch your enemy to destroy him or to damage him until he is gone. Press the red button to fire your at your enemy once you have touched a Power Cell! Your fire power won't last long and you can't fire forever since your ammo is limited! 4. CONSOLE CONTROLS GAME SELECT SWITCH GAME RESET SWITCH Press down either the GAME SELECT or RESET switch to start the game. Pressing either the GAME SELECT or RESET switch during the game has no effect. DIFFICULTY SWITCHES When the LEFT DIFFICULTY switch is set to B a square will appear at the edge of the screen indicating the direction the Skeleton is in. The square will be near the top of the screen when the Skeleton is ahead of you and near the bottom of the screen when the Skeleton is behind you. The RIGHT DIFFICULTY switch is not used in this game. TV TYPE SWITCH The TV TYPE switch is not used in this game. 5.
