  1. And like phoenixdonita said, only throwing out some ideas and suggestions for you. Your books are already nice, well laid out and fun to read (although personally, I'd leave out GameFaq's ridiculous ratings). ha! Nobody should be taking the fun out of it for you. Appreciate all you've done and contributed thus far! :)

Thanks for saying that :) As with the Gamefaq score, I need something that has continuity, and Gamefaq include score for almost all the games for most systems. I know it may be infuriating to see a bull-shit game score higher than a game more universally loved game. But I don`t know a better site to take scores from :/

Thank you for info on the homebrew scene. It will help me when I have to tackle it down the road.

  2. Thank you. Its been something that I've been working on for about 2 years and started with an article specifically about the rarest homebrew games. I've spoken directly with most of the developers and a lot of top collectors.

I know that these things are quite an undertaking, and the Vectrex is probably the most diminutive of your projects but will there be an update in the future?

Sure, I could probably continue the PDF at a later time and include more homebrew information, etc. :)

  3. That was quick!!!

    Thanks!

EDIT: And with an extra screen shot ... nicely done

[there's an error on the 7800 wiki cut'n'paste .. you say "This is a short wikipedia introduction for the Atari Jaguar."]

Another nice read! Now how fast can you put together a 2600 book? j/k

Caught another error too... page 5, paragraph 7 needs to be omitted. Partial paragraph talking about the Jaguar...

Just done with the Vectrex PDF. Even though the PDF is small, the library of homebrews made it hard to collect info for. If I do a 2600 PDF, how much of the homebrew library should I include? I went through it on the AtariAge list, and it is pretty massive. Do some of you have a list I could use of games that must be included? Also, phoenixdownita, I don`t think I will have a extra screenshot on the 2600 PDF. It went a little to cluttered in the 7800. What do you think?

  4. It's the wrong forum but in the Game Cube book,

in Europe pre-orders of the Game Cube were given an inflatable chair with purchase, might be worth mentioning. I got a purple chair, here's pic of a black one:

    Nintendo-Game-Cube-Inflatable-Chair1-300

    Here's mine, still sealed

    Game%20Cube%20inflatchair1_zpsis1znros.j

Thanks. Will include it if I ever get out a revision.

  5. There are other jaguar projects that you could mention such as jagfest, rental jag, rotary controller, white and clear shells, region mod, reset switch, led replacement, cine movies and Cj's ST conversions if you haven't already got them. On the 7800 it's worth mentioning the composite out mod (I think it was composite). Definitely get over to the 7800 forum, that's a whole nother can o worms.

Could you provide a link to your sms pdf please?

Thanks. I will see if I could find some on the subjects.

  6. Bubsy Fractured Furry Tails Tales.

A common mistake. As much as I love the game it took me a while to narrow down the true name Actually for a while I wondered if there were two variants to the name depending on region. But as much as I would have liked more to collect of Bubsy, there is only one name. :D

    Thanks for the info.

  7. Gave a few of your Ebooks a quick look and am very impressed. I'm very interested to see what you do for the Vectrex as its very difficult with all the homebrew releases. It would be pretty impossible without pictures and information from my website http://tbone1892001.wix.com/vectrex-guide. Even still, I haven't be able to get pictures for every release such as War of the Robots Omega and its been such an undertaking that I haven't gotten to screenshots either. I'm just now getting to adding individual pictures of manuals, carts and boxes and I still need to update the website to include Vectrexagon.

Your site is great. Great layout and real fun to look through. I used some of the information from the site. The PDF was a little hard with all the homebrew, and it does miss alot of info on that subject. I hope it will be of some use for some though... https://daddarulekonge.itch.io/the-vectrex-encyclopedia-book

  8. Happy to help. Say... I just noticed Commando received a score of 5.8, while Crack'd got a 7.2. Any chance the scores were flipped?

    Gamefaq:

    Command - 2.93 from 7 total votes

    Crack`ed - 3.63 from 4 total votes

The score is a little biased to Crack`ed

I am sorry to say that using Gamefaq score is not a perfect system, It gets scores (sometimes) right.

  9. That was quick!!!

    Thanks!

EDIT: And with an extra screen shot ... nicely done

[there's an error on the 7800 wiki cut'n'paste .. you say "This is a short wikipedia introduction for the Atari Jaguar."]

Yeah, will fix it. Maybe it went a little to fast :P

  10. Made a little PDF/book on the Jaguar, and a user, phoenixdownita, would had liked to see a PDF on the 7800. The PDF was done faster than I had anticipated. Mostly because it was such a fun system to read about.

    Atari 7800 PDF found here:https://daddarulekonge.itch.io/the-atari-7800-encyclopedia-book

    Other PDFs: https://daddarulekonge.itch.io/

Every PDF is free just hit the "No thanks, just take me to the downloads" link.

If something is wrong in the PDF or if you would like an inclusion of something, then let me know and I will make a revision.

Hope some may find it useful :)

  11. Thanks for creating this and for the other ones as well. Any chance for a Vectrex Encyclopedia?

I do like the Vectrex. I made a template on a Vectrex PDF some time ago, just need to fill in the pages. I may get around to doing a PDF in a few weeks time. Maybe.

  12. Read it at work, I liked it.

Atari Jaguar Scart (Peritel) connecter needs a pic and a mention though.

And Gorf was a professional released game

    gorf%201_zpsukqptx57.jpg

I used the rarity list from atariage, and they list the game as "H" homebrew. I am not sure what defines a homebrew and what defines a official game. I guess that may be up to the collectors them self. Is games released aftermarket homebrew? I was also unsure if I should include the two BattleSphere games in the "official" list also.

  13. I guess we were a little harsh on you on the other thread (where did it go?) but "This is Sparta!!!!!" (the Jag forum tends to be harsher than the rest of AA).

Of all new users you must be one of the first few whose post number 2 is to offer something for free ..... respect!!!!!

Thats ok, I don`t give much of myself on forums (other than trying push PDFs), so I deserve the suspicion :)

  14. Thanks dude!!!

I downloaded about half of them and started looking.

EDIT: I like the fact that you clearly state "Cut'n'pasted" and then list your sources.

The layout is nice although a little busy with 3 games per page.

Obviously the per game content/text is extremely short/superficial but as a "compendium" it does get the job done.

I would have liked a plurality of in game screenshots rather than just the title screen and 1 generic pics but I do appreciate the effort to include them and it is in line with the rest of the "summary" content.

I wonder if it would have been better as a "compendium" website rather than some mammoth PDF (I gave up on the 3 files of the PS1, I'll never go thru each page anyway).

EDIT2: no love for the Sega Saturn? :)

    Or for the 7800? :-D

Maybe later. The Saturn is interesting, but it does have a medium sized library, so it would take some time to do. I was just looking at the 7800, and it may be something I can waste some weeks on making :)

  15. Thanks, I`m glad you like it. I know it may be a little weak on screenshots and information, but I guess this size of the format is what suits me best. The PDF would probably be better as a web site, but that`s not something I would do. Other people can use the info and pictures from the PDFs and make their own web site though, if they felt that it was something they would want and use their time on :)
