Well I own one and there is a switch to change drive numbers on it and you can change density on it and it is sleeker and better looking and quieter and it comes with alot of stuff and a big plastic case that has multiple uses.

what's the custom, here, since I don't have this happen, much? Have they earned negative feedback, for gross negligence? No, because they refunded?I agree but I would attempt to alert Ebay about what you got and include the pics and sellers name for future references.
I have gotten burned twice from Ebay sellers, I got 2 Atari 800's that don't work and in the descriptions they said the unit worked the last time they used it.
The last thing I got on Ebay was a Atari Flashback 3 and it's awesome !!

I received my Atari Flashback 3 in the mail and I hooked it up and I love it,
the graphics are fine on my TV which is a monster old school model
The joysticks are looser than the original ones, I have 2 original Atari 2600 Joysticks .
The games are as I remember them
The sound quality is great
1 question though. . . . . . .
Do all of the Atari Flashbacks have different games or the same games plus added games ???
I couldn't find Space Invaders on my Flashback 3

I went to Ebay and I bought a Atari Flashback 3 for $35 in excellent condition and I am due to get it within the next few days.

I don't know if this has been asked but can we use actual atari joysticks with Flashback 3 or 4 ???

I used to own a Atari 800 now I own a Atari 800XL I much rather and prefer the 800 ans it was my first Atari "computer" which I loved to program and I put in many an all nighter too.
The Atari 800XL is a great computer though, mine is in mint condition too and I love it but I miss my 800 and I would trade my 800xl for an 800 in a heartbeat at an even trade.

I had Lynx 1 and a Lynx 2 and I never had any problems with removing battery covers unless I got lucky or you got a Lynx 2 with a defect.

I guess if you don't plan to re-sell it's okThis what i am talking about if your cart needs a label then use a label maker to make one as long as you know it is a fake label but you will also know what game it is.
I am not saying to use a label maker to fool people or to make $$$ buy saying it is the original label as that would be foolish.

Maybe ask the developers of the 2600 label maker to develop one that makes Atari 800 labels ???
Maybe if enough people ask they might just give it a try.
If a person/team/company can make a label maker for the 2600 then they have the smarts to make one for the 800. . . . . . .well at least that's what I am thinking.

I know that there is an Atari 2600 label maker in the 2600 forums now if someone can use that and turn it into Atari 800 labels your problem might be solved and in fact I would use that for a few labels myself.

Just copy the monopoly board that I posted and add something somewhere like I did with the Atari sign in place of chance, if you land on the Atari sign you draw a card just like you would if you landed on Chance.
I think this would be tons of fun. . . . . . .so who's next ???
