My best friend has BATTLE CHESS and he let someone use his guide and that person has since moved and that person lost it and now my best friend can't play the game without it. You have to type in a move before you can play, I guess they did this so the game can't be copied. Any kind of help would be great, thanks

Now that you have the game out you can compare that to a game that dosen't stick and see if it is wider or thicker than a game that dosen't stick. If it's thicker then try to tighten the screws a little bit however if it's wider then you might have to file the sides of the slot a little. NOTE: when filing the sides of the slot it is recomended that you keep the console upside down to prevent the shavings from getting inside.

Zombies is for atari 800 you must change the type of hardware in the emulator you're using. devweb I am using Xformer 2000 for Windows v.8 and Zombies and Chicken are the only 2 games that don't work so far

I wish that I could find a working "Chicken" and "Zombies" games. I downloaded them from 2 or 3 sites and they don't work, Do I need paddles for "Chicken" ??

Hey feo I am currently using Xformer 2000 for Windows v.8 and I have been playing Popcorn and you are correct about the game play. I downloaded Chicken from 2 dfferent sites and neither of them work and the same goes for Zombies too

I use Xformer 2000 for windows version 8 and I am having zero problems With the Xformer all you do is download the .atr files and have fun playing the games. However everyone has their favorite emulator and mine happens to be Xformer 2000 for windows v.8

I had an Atari 800 and my best friend Chris has an Atari 1200XL, he has my 800 now and we had those annoying cassettes and what a pain it was to load a game. Thank GOD for disk drives, Both of us had Indus GT floppy drives and he said if he can find some cheap he would buy at least 2 more.

When I first heard of emulators ( this was a while back)I downloaded Atari800WinPlus but I did not know how to use it and I couldn't figure out how to load .atr game files. My best friend had XFORMER 2000 v.7 and it was great but as stated in an above post I had no sound, this is when I downloaded Atari800WinPlus and I couldn't figure out how to use it, then I discovered this site and talk-atari.com which was like finding gold

First of all ...I am not having ANY trouble with WINDOWS ME Second....... I did not put ME in my computer, my computer came with it Third ......... XFORMER 2000 for WINDOWS v.8 works great Fourth ....... I was having trouble with XFORMER 2000 for WONDOWS V.7 I was able to play the games but I had no sound I defrag my drive, run scan disk and scan for viruses once a week and I regularly log on to windows update. However I did make copies of all the folders and files that I created just in case WINDOWS ME decides to (and I shouldn't say this) CRASH. I have 4 nephews and I think they all have Windows 2000 Is Windows 2000 better than Windows ME Thanks for all the help and ideas though

Holy Cow I totally forgot about Nerm of Bemer I really liked that game. My best friend has an Atari 1200XL, 800 and an ST and I will be going to see him for 12 days at the end of May and I am looking forward to playing my favorite games again
