  1. I used to live in OHIO and there was a place calles TOMORROW'S HEROES and there was at least 300 games, (probably more) for the the atari consoles and 8bit computers.

In fact I plan on going back to OHIO to visit my best friend for 12 days and I will find out if that place is still there and what the address and phone number is in case anyone on this site want to call about games or visit.

It is alot of fun to go into any thrift store and find atari games and carts.

I plan on doing this too.

  2. The problem is now fixed and thanks to all the good people on this site who helped me.

I was instant messeging my buddy last night and he said he had version 7 so I went to one of the sites listed in this thread and downloaded version 8 and it worked like a charm (and I have sound !!!).

    thanks again 8)

  3. I fanally recieved an email from my buddy and he said that we tried the XFORMER 2000 FOR WINDOWS and it worked perfectly on his computer but I had no sound on mine.

My computer is alot newer than his which is why I can't figure out why he gets sound and not me. :? :?

    256 MB SDRAM

    30.0 GB hard drive

  5. I always find atari game carts at GOODWILL & THE SALVATION ARMY and at some yard/garage sales too.

I even found an Atari 800 in great shape for $20 and it works just fine however I did have to buy a power supply for it.

I used to live in Cleveland and there was a store that had TONS & TONS of atari carts 8 bit, 2600, 5200, 7800.

The store was called Tomorrows Heroes
