  1. My mind is officially blown. I am guessing yes, but i just have to make sure: Us cassette users should be able to use this from cassette right?
  2. 1 Z=10 2 FOR A = 1 TO Z 3 IF TEST-CONDITION=1 THEN 4 ELSE 7 4 Z=Z+1 !MODIFY THE LOOP LIMIT TO RUN A EXTRA TIME 5 DO SOMETHING 6 GOTO 8 7 DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT 8 NEXT A What i want is a loop that changes itself to run extra times if needed, based on whether a certain conditional variable is 1 or 0. I am fairly certain something like this can be done in languages like C, but is it possible in Basic/XB?
  3. I thought this was going to use playground to load them from cassette?
  4. Gamebooks & misc. interesting Print n Play titles from Boardgamegeek.com .
  5. That looks about right. Then you would type new <enter> and proceed with loading the main game from tape. Sounds interesting. Can not wait to see what you've come up with.
  6. I think this thread should be necro'd every once in a while. Why? Because why not!
  7. This thread. Looks like he got a bad attitude and called it quits.
  8. Wait a minute...! You mean plugging Alpiner in and going to TI Basic is enough to use speech? Are you sure? I got a Alpiner cart laying around someplace but have not played in a while. Had no idea it enables speech in ti basic. Is it by the CALL SAY("") method or the OPEN #1:"SPEECH",OUTPUT PRINT #1:"HELLO" method?
  9. I could not find a actual keyboard, but close enough. A keyboard overlay:
  10. Pretty sure ramidavis has left for good.
  11. Pretty sure you would need a real famicom. Take a look at www.famicomworld.com forum. There is the occasional thread there on this subject. I think i recall someone there was attempting to make their own rom hack and add features to the Basic.
  12. The first real IBM my dad purchased came with GEOS. Sadly, he sold it a few years ago to a flea market. Heres a memory jogger for everyone: ever hear of MSBOB?
  13. Here are six different lists usable with Milton Bradley Hangman. Tested in Mame, should work on real hardware as well. A shame they can't be used in Classic99. Zip archive includes the word lists each saved to their own .wav and a corresponding text file for each .wav listing the words in each. Each list has 60 unique words. Words are anywhere from two to twelve letters in length, and not were not entered in into the list in alphabetical order. Every letter is represented by at least one word out of the complete set, but not necessarily every set contains words of every letter. (I even managed to find two words for 'X', and "xerox" is not one of them .) ti994a MB hangman tapes.zip
  14. I have a rather unusual request, but what else are forums like this for? I would like any wav recordings of custom word lists for MB hangman that anyone cares to offer.
  15. Taken from here: Could someone post a couple interesting examples of this? I would like to see this in action.
  16. There is a chess puzzle known as the "knights tour". One knight starts on chess board square and must visit every square. It is common to use coins or checkers men to mark visited squares. This would be a good start to that, if someone wanted to make it.
