  1. A new update of CVbasic ? You're the man Oscar! And the animation of Jess, really great! Well i have done a small slideshow of 5 pictures and this is the second version as the first one there was a different color screen in between the pictures but now that's corrected. It's not much but it's a start, hope some of you will like it. slideshow02.rom
  2. I bow to you Nanochess for creating a BASIC programming tool for the Colecovision (and SG-1000/MSX too). This is FANTASTIC! I am in the process of doing a Pong game (have to start somewhere) and for now, i'm about half done (missing scores, sounds and collision). I was wondering, is there a way to put an image (like your Camelot Knight.bmp) into the background ? Sorry to ask but the last time i touched a BASIC game/program was like 30 years ago on my Atari 800XL. Oh and BTW, your camelot game (camelot.rom) has a bug as you can reverse the scrolling (press fire and the down) and after 2 seconds, you'll see various printout (i call it the negative zone, lol).
  3. Dang...i'm getting way old...i did post the ROM here back in 2020. Just click this link: And "IF" the link is broken, you can get it here: https://archive.org/download/phoenix_20200517/coleco/ and download the "cv-hacks.rar" file. It has the Vectopede ROM with some others hacks i've did. There is also the 'cv-demos.rar" file which contains some demos made by Daniel Bienvenu for the CCJVQ group. Also included are ROMs for the BUSTin-Out series (even pre-versions) and the "rip" i did about 20 years ago: "Super Cabbage Patch Kids" (from disk to ROM). The only hack i never distributed is "Space Fucker" (hack of Space Hunter) which i never asked Guy Foster his permission (so NO ROM available).
  4. "VECTOMAN" ??? LOL!!!!!!!! That's the first time someone titled me "Vectoman"!! Indeed, i did the hack/mod of Centipede with hack-o-matic (don't remember which version) back in 2006 just for fun. Just kept the outlines so it looks like vectors (more like vecto-pixels). if anyone wants the Vectopede ROM (without the Roller support), i will post it here.
  5. larryleffaovell Google Drive link is still active, i've just tried it out. In his 7z file, there is 608 CAR binaries. So here's the link (again): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1A-PvSmqpXHLaI3rlh2JbC9fkVSYmkGCZ Enjoy folk and HUGE thanks to larryleffaovell !
  6. Depends on the "strength" of the video signal. Some Pongs with the AY-3-8500-1 have a good video signal without using an amp and some other needs the video signal to be amplified. I just recently modded an Bandai TV-Jack Add-On 5000 and didn't need any amp circuit (audio & video). For a 'dark' paddle issue, you'll need to amplify the video signal so that the background (among the rest) will be less darker. You can get the "Audio/Sound" directly from pin#13 of the AY-3-8610 because on the circuit of the Binatone, it is amplified with 9015C transistor so it can "drive" the speaker. Because if you take the audio/sound from the speaker (or just after the collector of the 9015C, the audio will be very loud even at a very low setting on your TV/monitor. For sounds for ANY dedicated Pong chips (GI, TI, MOS, Mitsubichi, NEC, etc) it is always better to get the audio from the audio output of the chip. If your curious, i recently upload videos of all four cartridges of the Bandai TV-Jack Add-On 5000 on my Youtube channel and didn't use any amplifier for both audio & video signals.
  7. Try this: At first, put a probe just before the red X to see if the video signal is strong enough, if not then cut the circuit where the red X is and put a transistor (2N2222 or 2N3904) and the collector goes to either 5 or 9 volts and with two resistors (75 and 1,000 (1k) ohms) to amplify the video signal. That's it....have fun!
  8. Hi Problematicar, First, my pleasure! Always glad if the OdySim can help/enjoyed/having fun with it. Ok, now let's see... Duck Hunting and Maze-N-Chase are still in the OdySim version 0.8 since both i have to update them to 0.10.1....err...well now Love2d is version 11.4 so these will have to wait until i update them to a newer version (sorry!). But Vector Tennis is available on Archive, it is under "OdySim-Vector0-10-1.zip". I also uploaded Midway's Haunted House on Archive (see: OdySim-Midway-HH.zip). As for now, only 3 "officially released" homebrews have been ported to the OdySim and i know that i've talked to Revrob and i don't remember if he gave me permission, i'll have to check old messages and e-mails. Other "Free" homebrews are: Puck-Man (Pac-Man Demake) and PC-505 Submarine (demake) by Mikebloke, Super Mario by WWX-wax (on github) and Cops and Robbers by the Odyssey Now team (see their website). Ok, now for the rest: Midway's Haunted House (uploaded! - created in 2019) Steps & Slides (still upcoming, created in 2009) Monopoly (still upcoming, created in 2009) Super Blip! (will be included with Tennis in a newer version - created in 2009) Two-for-Tennis (now called: Two-4-Tenis will be included in Volleyball in a new version - created in 2009) Bull's Eye (still upcoming, created in 2010) Bean Tossin' (still upcoming, created in 2012) Maze-A-Chase (This is 100% just a misspelling of Maze-N-Chase, which is still available in OdySim 0.8 - created in 2013) Air Hockey (Sanders Associates Edition) (will be included with Hockey in a newer version - created in 2013) Alien Invaders (Rifle game) (NOPE! No misspelling....that is one of my old brews way back when i started in 2008, will be included in Space Invaders in a newer version - created in 2009) DOT Pigeons (Rifle game) (still upcoming, created in 2012) All brew games created between 2009 and 2010 were developed on the OdyEmu (Odyssey emulator by Paul Robson & David Winter) before i started doing the OdySim back in 2012. There is also 15 "extra" overlays, which are: Atari Pong Bezel Beach Volleyball Blue Table Tennis General Instrument AY-3-8500-1 Tennis Green Table Tennis Marx T.V. Tennis Odyssey 500 "Smash" Odyssey 500 Hockey Odyssey 500 Soccer Odyssey 500 Tennis Odyssey 500 Volleyball Prototype Hockey Prototype Tennis Tomy Tennis Corona Invaders 2020 (included with Space Invaders) And i have more than 30 ports/brews that are still in development (classified for now). Ok, that's it for today. Take care all! - Sly DC -
  9. All the games does work as they have been tested with Emma 02. Some had bugs but Marcel (the author of Emma 02) has corrected them. Almost all the games have a ".txt" file which usually gives a small description of the game and which keys does what based on the original hex pad on the Cosmac VIP. The best would try them and select the best games to put with your emulator. I would love to help out but i don't have much spare time (like 1-2 hours per week).
  10. How about 200 Chip-8 games ? Just go here and download what you need: https://archive.org/details/chip-8-games
  11. Hummmm... i have a question: If anyone here buys the Vanguard (which is my all-time favorite arcade game!) digital rom version, which emulator it will work with ? 🤔
  12. Hi again folks! There is another homebrew that was released back in 2014 and the last update was 2 years ago called "Duelingtet" made by Dale Wick (aka hardhat). Here's the small description of the game: A ColecoVision party game to fill shapes with cubes, dueling for points along the way. But it's need to be assembled and programming/assembling for the CV isn't my cup of tea, so here's the link for anyone who can assemble it: https://github.com/hardhat/duelingtet
  13. Hi CC, You should contact Amy Purple Bienvenu as she has done many homebrews, demos, and music/sounds for many other games. And also, she developed many tools for programming on the CV.

I have already sold many stuffs since this summer and here's what i have for now to sell. Check out the link of the excel sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KYuljr547yuICkPd3xpUI4gTNPYO1Wwl/edit?usp=share_link&ouid=106038530688531228200&rtpof=true&sd=true Inside the excel sheet, all that i have for sale is listed and have links to pictures of each item to sell. I was asked how much for shipping a box which has the size 48cm X 32cm X 32cm and weights about 5Kg From Canada to England. Just to give you all an idea how "INSANE" shipping cost are: Canada Post by surface (boat) which is 2-3 months for delivery cost $170.34 and by Xpresspost (8 business days), it cost $295.70! And shipping by Fedex ? Hold on to your underwear because the cost is $537.92 !!! I have only one word to say....$#(^&$% (or Tabarnak in my native language) !!! P.S.S.: The Bandai Playdia, Bandai Terebikko and the Gakken TV-boy lots are sold. P.S.S.S.: I have both a booth on Bonanza and all rices are in USD: https://www.bonanza.com/booths/slydc
  20. I still have a copy of Hunting Adventure and also Zombie Outbreak for sale, PM me if you're interested. :)
  21. Thanks! I was contacted by Côté Gamers for the module but that was 2 days ago. And for now, the project is on hold as i was trying to mix the CV & the module signal and by accident, i shorted out the D3 on the board so the video signal of the module is very dark and the vertical is rolling constantly. I will repair it but it won't be until this week-end.
  22. Directly to pin #31, no Op-amp or amplifier.
  23. Hi fellow Canuck! Apart the Super Game Module by Opcode, not much but you should check out on FB the group Colecovision Lunatics a new recent module.
