I think the main interest among people on this site - me included - are new games for old systems, more than new games for newish systems, mimicking the style of old systems.

Also, installing EXE files from a relatively unknown source (sorry) might not be the highest priority, even if one of course could run antivirus scans on everyone you install.

Have you made any attempts using e.g. Batari BASIC or some other tool to make genuine retro games?

MediaFire scans files that's being uploaded to it. Also I don't know anyone else who tries to go for an authentic Atari 2600 feel.
