  1. Let me know where you are located so I might know what shipping would cost. I may be interested.
  2. If it was from Goodwill, the controller would have been long gone never to be seen again.
  3. To each his own, but that's certainly not a fair price for something that retails for ~$70.
  4. Sorry about that- I figured everyone on AtariAge knew what this was! Yes, it is a 1 megabit flash cart with IDE interface. The adapters allow use of a CF card, which is all self-contained and powered by the Atari. I think you are correct and it only works on XL and XE computers, but I am not 100% sure.
  5. Nobody? You are essentially getting the CF->IDE adapter, the CF card, and the shipping for free. If it isn't worth that to someone, make me a reasonable offer.
  6. Hi guys, I have some toys from years past that I don't play with anymore, and it's time for cleanup! Game Doctor SF7 - 32M SFC/SNES Game Copier - Best offer over $50 Tototek MD Flash Cart - 32M with parallel port programmer - Best offer over $50 Both work perfectly. Let me know if you're interested and I don't charge anything more for shipping than USPS charges. The MD Flash will go in a flat rate for $5, I know. The SF7 maybe the next box up or maybe better by weight. I know there's newer and better stuff out there for both, but the value doesn't go to $0.
  7. Hi guys, I bought this last Christmas and played around with it a bit, but never really used it much. I have the cart itself (flashed with latest firmware as of a month or so ago), a powered IDE->CF converter, and a 128M CF. This combination is stand-alone (power is supplied by Atari) and works fine, but I find that I just use the regular old SIO to RS232 cable for the occasional gaming sessions. Does anyone want a whole setup for $50 shipped in the continental US?
  8. These are junk carts - not even worth the $3 each. The best multicart I have has about 80 games on it with original names and no repeats. Sky blue japanese cart with clouds and balloons in the menu system.
  9. Were there test bins of this that were removed from the thread? I can't find a download to see how it plays/looks.
  10. I have a regular top-loading CD unit here on the bench. It won't load games, but I don't have any originals, just burned CDR. I know I've had one of these in the past that loaded CDR, but maybe I am misremembering, so this one may or may not have a bad laser. It loads single-load games from CDR sometimes, but only with a good bit of fiddling. I may just not have the kind of CDR media that it likes. I have a couple extra "new" import lasers for it, but they are a pain to swap. Do you want a fix-er-upper for about 1/2 what they go for from Japan?
  11. Mod chip is probably dead- they aren't really high quality electronics- believe it or not.
  12. That is a neat and rare find these days. If you need help preserving these let me know. I can transfer to TAP files directly.

  14. The VIC-II has a different reference voltage pin (13) requirement also- it's 12V on the old and 9V on the new. Putting an newer chip in the older board could damage it over time. I'm not sure if the opposite is true- it may cause problems long term pulling more current from the 9V line.
  15. Not with original hardware- the TIA doesn't process video in RGB.
  16. Ultima I was not originally released on the C64, since the 64 didn't exist until late 1982. This is a re-release from (I believe) 1986. I also don't recall ever seeing those cardboard boxes shrink-wrapped, but I am not a "sealed" collector. I think those boxes were just sealed with stickers on the side(s) at retail. And of course Tempest is right- the store demos are the same as retail, almost always. A few companies released demos- I've archived several non-interactive demos from Activision, EA, and MicroProse. Every Epyx dealer demo I have is the complete game, typically the earliest version. Some of the disks say "FOR DEMO ONLY - NOT A COMPLETE GAME" or "PROTOTYPE" on the disk, but they usually match early released versions of the game.
  17. Star Wars in a Centipede cab? What kind of unholy creations have you resurrected, Dr. Frankenstein?!
  18. 24 hours or so should acclimate it.
  19. I played it long ago as a much more fun flash game called "Crush the Castle (and II)". Timing the trebuchet is much more fun than shooting a bird with a rubber band. http://armorgames.com/play/6137/crush-the-castle-2

    Game Select

I'm sure Stella doesn't emulate the extra hardware that's in the cart to allow the game selection to work.
  21. I see some where the equipment has been stacked for years and the rubber feet have started to disolve...
  22. I bought a little chinese step up converter for about $5 shipped that works fine. Now I probably wouldn't leave it plugged in 24/7 but it works when I need to use a 220V power supply. EDIT: It's this one: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260552198335
