Season 15 ~ Weeks 11/12 ~ Holiday Special

Crossbow: 15750 - took me longer than I care to admit that you're supposed to shoot one of the color things at the bottom to actually start the game! Cross Force: 2960 - interesting concept, not sure I like it though Red Sea Crossing: 9300 - yep -
I tried for a couple hours tonight, and didn't improve. it's kind of funny that I know what I'm doing now, but yet somehow gotten worse as far as score goes

you have to blow up the fuel depot on the planet. The big negative with that is the whole sector will turn into that red screen/reverse controls stuff, which obviously stinks. That was the only workaround I could figure out at the time. Hopefully there's some other solution, but I'm not familiar enough with the game to know for sure!

I had that EXACT same problem! The only thing I could figure out was blowing up the planet. I don't understand why it happened either.

Solaris: 70520 Really cool game and I'm intrigued to try to finish it since apparently there's an ending as Vocelli said!
-
Yes! I read the manual after trying once and things are a lot more clear now. Not a good for a "pick up and play"

The final video (Frostbite) has officially been uploaded! If you're interested in the entire playlist for all of these games, you can find that list at this link! Thanks to anyone who spent any time watching or reading any of this. It is appreciated and hopefully can be helpful to anyone wanting to try the idea out for yourself!

Season 15 ~ Week 7 ~ Paper Medal Winner

I appreciate the kind words! -
Jaw Breaker: 9930 - cool take on Pac-Man River Patrol: 4520 - boats need to learn courtesy! Threshold: 10560 - maybe patience is needed on this, too? I was being kind of aggressive and often getting smoked by the homing missiles

Thrust: 8300 Solar: 3130 Both of these are tough. If I get another crack at it, I need to be in a patience mindset! -
Kung Fu Master: 30580 Berzerk: 4060 Hit boxes feel really janky for Kung Fu. I got lucky to beat the level 1 boss exactly once. I wish I had more time this week to try to figure out things to do better.

I didn't participate this year because I'm at a crossroads if I even want to collect games anymore (and might start selling!), but I still enjoy this idea and have been watching and waiting for gifts to roll in for others! -
Favorites Pressure Cooker - this is a top 5 2600 game for me. I call this "the original Overcooked". The mental organization of "what do I need now?" strikes the right chords in my brain, and it's proper stressful H.E.R.O. - hard to argue against this classic Surprises Amoeba Jump - I was INTO IT when playing it! Escape from the Mind Master - I didn't get much time with it or really know what I was doing, but pulling off a first person view like that for 2600 and Starpath is impressive! Worst Honestly, I don't think I played anything I truly disliked, so these are maybe just stuff I wasn't super into for the season. Suicide Mission - I'd rather just play Asteroids Burgertime - Not a fan of this version, but still plays alright
