Will you be open sourcing the verilog cores either on release or after a period of time as to preserve these consoles? If you're worried about clones coming out, you could always go the id Software route and open source them after 5 years or so.

No idea. Nowhere near knowledgeable enough to write verilog. I'm more of a software guy, so I know nothing about hardware design.

Try out MarathonMan's uber experimental multithreaded RDP. Runs 150% full speed on my computer. Then again, the regular single-threaded version also runs 85-100% on my computer.

We need cheap FPGA PCIe cards for PCs so we can all have perfect emulation.

We just need to politely pester him about it constantly. Although I don't know if Verilog for Altera FPGAs is the same as Verilog for Xilinx FPGAs.
