This is quite interesting. I'd imagine Pat King would know if there's any ROMs to the REAL ET game, not the Frogger re-brand.

Kevin Savetz from the Antic Podcast (for the Atari 8-bit computers) was in attendance at FestWest 2017. He provides some commentary on the event at the beginning of Antic episode 43. Here's the link: ANTIC The Atari 8-bit Podcast: ANTIC Episode 43 - Corporate Wars http://ataripodcast.libsyn.com

Rough Idea for multi button gamepads

Damn! Gave mine away at Festwest. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Do the TI faithful here on AtarAge include any of the original TI folks? Seems so little is available on the 99/4 historically; especially when compared to the other systems of the day. Do any of you have contacts with the players mentioned in the Orphan Chronicles? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use the Hyperkin Genesis controllers which sell for only $8.99. They seem to have good build quality and work well. So...yours will probably be pretty good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Rough Idea for multi button gamepads

I like this idea! All you need to do is code your program to read both joysticks after building your mutilated Genesis FrankenStick. Read button #2 and UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT on joystick #2 to get five more buttons. You then have a six button joystick after writing the appropriate code for the thing. SINPHALTIMASTER SYSTEM!!!! -
Wouldn't you be kind of killing off a now somewhat collectible 32K card/Clamshell assembly to do so? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

"IN THE STYLE OF THOSE FROM THE 80s." I'd love to see more original game titles in the style of those from the 80s! Your project's progress will be interesting to follow, especially if you include video or photos. While listening to a podcast (Intellivision I believe), the programmer interviewed talked about porting Microsurgeon to the TI. He expressed significant levels of enthusiasm regarding the TI's resources v the consoles of the day. I believe he stated that Microsurgeon on the TI is something of a premier/definitive version.
