I realized that I did the wrong swap initially, I thought I had to replace the sound chip, what a stupid mistake... I think my sound chip has gone bad

Hello, I have modded mine with the Crystal and AY-3-8900-1 chip, but it was just a messy image without sound.
Now I reverted back to initial components, but I have another problem. The console takes some time to initialize first then the game works, then progressively the sound disappears.
When I let stay off for while the sound comes back, but disappears progressively with some sound bugs, no graphical glitches same steps.
What do you think is my problem ?
I have found the crystal with some leakings, and maybe I have touched something while removing the chip with the heat gun ?

I didn't make the mod myself actually, I bought it already done. The daughterboard is completely removed yes.
I think it's worth trying.
Do you know where I can buy AY-3-8900-1 chips ?
I want to avoid wasting an NTSC intellivision (plus shipping fees) to get one

My Intelllivision has been modded to RGB from Secam, so I guess the signal is not Secam anymore, does it change anything ?

Thanks for the answers and the diagram ! I had a confusion between the AY-3-8900-1 and the AY-3-8914.... I should have looked on this diagram before beginning. I just guessed it was this one to replace. I stupidly desldered the chip, et resoldered it after trying. So later I figured out it was the STIC in the center after removing them one by one.
Now everything works fine, the mod is easy but I should have looked to the diagram !
