  1. Great that you are feeling better I am really close now on the list Can't wait!!!!!!
  2. I might pick it up, but I still would Prefer it being with an sd card
  3. The flash cart would be everdrive style with a sd card. I still looks very impressive though.
  4. Same here with Atari computers. I have heard of the 800 and the XEGS; but I actually never heard of the rest that you listed. I might try an Atari computer when I only own a commodore 64. I haven't gotten into computers that much so thank you for giving me a reason to do so. :)
  5. but you are correct that when it was first released it didn't sell well you are right leech
  6. In terms of sales, yes it wasn't as popular but as time moved it became more popular then when it was released. Kind of like the Jaguar the Retro HQ is developing and the Turbo-grafx. I was talking in respect to just Atari hardware because mainly we are talking about 5 pieces of hardware (2600, 5200, 7800, Jag, and Lynx) (also don't forget about the computer's) I'm just saying that in terms of the Atari community the 7800 was the easiest of the other systems to grow a bigger fan base, like easier to set up and play; the 5200 had bad controllers and new ones were expensive and can be confusing to hook up if you don't know what you are doing. And there are a lot more systems for people to buy, instead of the jag. There is just in terms of numbers of fans within the Atari community. Yes the 7800 didn't sell well, but in terms of affordability, playability and other things, the 2600 sold far more and has a bigger fan base than the 7800, it is still a distant second.
  7. Retro HQ who made the Atari lynx sd cart and developing the JAGUAR sd has is now thinking about doing a flash cart for the 7800 http://atariage.com/forums/topic/250637-lynx-multi-card-preorders/page-35
  8. That's fantastic!!!!!!!! Would you start a new forum like the jagsd to generate interest in the near future and to bounce off ideas?
  9. That's why many 7800 fans like me are still waiting and waiting for a flashcart to just be available to purchase. I know the cattle cart exists but they are old and you can never find one online. A 7800 flash cart will Will be pretty big because the fan base is the second biggest in Atari hardware; of course 2600 is number one.
  10. I know that you are pretty overwhelmed about starting new projects like the Jag and Neo Geo pocket; but I was wondering if maybe in 5-6 years you could start R&D on the 7800 flash cart. I know that batari has been doing work on this flash cart for a while and actually did finish most of it; but the project (based on my Own personally research on the project; which compared to others I am kind of a noob with forums) there have been many setbacks with this project including trying to find the bug that won't allow the flaashcart work With 2% of systems, and having errors with it when batari sold it in Portland retro gaming expo. I haven't Heard much about what is going on about this project today. If the project maybe within the next 5 years comes out and people can buy it then that is a great, but if not within the next few years or so would you be willing to do this. It is completely up to you and you really don't have to do this if you don't want to. And don't worry if this is just bad business with batari, because the same thing kind of is happening with Grooveybee and Left Turn Only with the intellivison. My main question is would you consider doing some research and development of a 7800 flashcart in the future as a possibility if in a few years batari doesn't release it? Thank You http://atariage.com/forums/topic/230751-sd-cartridge-for-7800/page-24
