I have a soft spot for Suzo joysticks.
-
Yep, although I didn't have much luck with cheapo DC Genesis 1 power supplies until I switched to a regulated one.
-
Get a RGB to YPbPr transcoder box.

I tried a regulated power supply today on my Lynx II - same issue initially, blinking red light. I was doing some continuity tests on D9, D10, and D11 and it started to smoke from the board. Couldn't pinpoint from where exactly, but it was from around the mosfet or diodes. I tried powering on again later and it started up (screen was completely dead though). I was getting 5.1V across D11 and C35. It was also 5.1V across C40, C41, C44, and R75. Zener diode orientation had the stripe towards R74 as per the instructions.

I'm in a similar boat, having replaced everything that Passive Matrix has, I get a blinking red power light when I try to power it on.

Being a Neo-Geo guy, I've got Seimitsu LS-40 joysticks in all my multi-console arcade sticks as opposed to Sanwa JLF.
-
They're used - all of them have micro-switched fire buttons. I got them from a Dutch seller.

I just bought a bunch of Suzo "The Arcade" joysticks. Very happy with them.

This is awesome news! Now if only we could replace the NGPC screen with something better (front light mod doesn't quite cut it)... -

Got this Walther P99 for the Wii the other day. Much like the Penguin United gun someone posted previously, this one has an integrated Wii-mote. This one also has a cool feature - the ability to map the trigger to either A or B. -

How to Spot FAKE Nintendo Games (Video)
zaneiken replied to Metal Jesus's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I've noticed there are quite a few AliExpress fake SFC and MD games popping up on Yahoo! Auctions Japan in the past few months, with sellers charging the price of originals for these. -

These are my two most commonly used light guns (Dreamcast on the left, PS1/PS2 on the right). Both have blowback. -
Please add me to the pre-order list. Thanks!

Stupid Things You Hear Collectors Say
zaneiken replied to MotoRacer's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Australia is in something of a bubble when it comes to retro games. Not only do PAL games cost more than their NTSC counterparts (even after shipping), but collectors are all too willing to pay a premium on top of that for Australian PAL releases. -

"It's what I grew up with" in reference to PAL collectors when I tell them NTSC games are cheaper and run at the proper speed. -
Looking for a SNES . . . . What Option Should I Choose?
zaneiken replied to wongojack's topic in Classic Console Discussion
My main SNES consoles are a 1CHIP original SNES and a RGB-modded SNES Mini. I also have a Retro Duo Portable 2.0 which I use quite often and can also output to the TV via composite video, which can be handy when visiting friends and family. -
Ever confuse/get confused with classic gaming jargon?
zaneiken replied to Csonicgo's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I've seen some people on local Facebook buy/sell groups refer to N64 analog thumbsticks as "toggles", which I've never heard before.
