I think a sio2sd wil be a great choice.. it does all you need + if you take a non boxed one, their pretty cheap.

Hey, thanks for youre response! indeed i had to remove the blue jumpers, and place the extra board over the pins. I got nvdi v3 together with this card.. probaly there good enough.

Hi Folks, today i bought something cool for my TT for only 20€ I bought this form a giant Atari collector, who's parent had an Atari store in the 80's! The c-lab log 3 i got for free together with Steinberg Twelve! Also the Leisure Suit Larry complete games in box came for free with it. I also liked to meet a guy who knows about anything about our beloved machines Does anyone knows how to connect the 15bit expansionboard to the crazydots card? Do i remove the blue jumpers and add the expansion to the pins?Probaly it does... Greetz Wim

Thx for the reply rdea6. Yes i cut the line between pin 2 and pin 5 i also measured with my multimeter.. image looks good, only no color.

Oke thx DrVenkman, i will try this mod in my 800XL! For now i have tried this mod http://atariage.com/forums/topic/230722-600xl-pal-s-video-chromaluma/ It seem to work somewhat.. picture is more clear now, but only without color Does anybody knows what could be wrong?

Sorry about my reply about this older topic.. But i have replaced the capacitors like the picture above. Now i have a more clear image, But also it's in black & white.. no color anymore. What did i do wrong?

I use the 5pin monitor port - scart, hookup to a led tv Looks great! Also use an scart scan doubler to use on tft monitor (vga)

When i started this topic, i was not looking for some upgrade board., i was more looking for something DIY (mod) my purpose is to build,make,create something myself.. not to install some kind of board Also no need for extra s-video mod, since the xl allready had a monitor out.

Acctualy i was more looking for a mod, something like swapping and or adding resistors.. The vbxe looks cool but is very expensive, and I only need sharper picture. Was more thinking about the ultra video mod 2.01

Hi folks back agian, with another question.. i have like many of you an 600 and 800xl at home! Witch i use quitte often to play game or try to program. I use a 5pin to scart on aan old crt-tv, the image good oke.. but could be better. I read the are many solutions for getting better picture, i don't really mind about the colors, but i want a clear and crisp image.. The solutions i found on the internet so far, seems not al of them look really effective.. So what you guys think is the better solution for crispy picture? Greetz Wim
