  2. Thanks for the xmas gift, 1NG. Amazing to see that your little 10liner SlideTen has grown to such a huge and wonderful game. Congratulations to your release and keep up the good work for the community.

  4. Good decision, the Computerspiele Museum is crap. In the texts are many errors. They should have concentrate more on german video game history. There are some quite interesting facts about german arcade games, especially from GDR.
  5. Great scores trbb and deteacher. Congratulations! I tried hard but weren't able to beat your scores. Thanks Eric for nice competition and not at least for a great game.
  6. It got 10 points from me! But I know some members who gave 0 points because they don't have paddles and the game doesn't provide alternatively joystick control . Real gamers will love the game! (Because they certainly own paddles!!!) It's a perfect highscore game. Very good balanced. Interesting for the very beginner and the very professional Atari player. Good Job, Eric and Rob! I am near to crack deteachers high score... (I hope)
  7. Better send it to wolfgang @ abbuc de. I won't visit annual meeting this year, and also send my votes per email to Wolfgang. Who is who? Wolfgang Burger - President of ABBUC (Master of the Universe Sascha Kriegel - AtariAge member skr - Head of Software Department of ABBUC (Temporarily unavailable) Marc Brings - AtariAge member Sleepy(?) - Head of Hardware Department of ABBUC Me - I'm nothing (kind of dogsbody :-))
  8. My scores so far: AtariNet Beginner 28 / Easy 60 / Normal 147 / Hard 402 / = 637 Ataroid 3,875 Night Mission 281,740 Twenty Forty Eight 2,172
  9. My scores so far: Ataroid 3,875 Night Mission 281,740 Twenty Forty Eight 2,172
  10. Night Mission 281,740 I loved playing it as a child on the DOS PC of my parents (with hercules graphics card, yellow monitor and beep sound right through the PC speaker).
  11. Robert, I love your reviews! They are very detailed and when you've read them you want to play revisited games immediately. I wonder how you can manage this amount of "work" in such a short time. Please be careful that you don't get tired of making magazines soon...
  12. 1st try Moon Patrol 18,500 2nd try 41,350 reached point D round 2 3rd and last try 67,100 reached point T round 2 37,700 points after round 1
  13. Amazingly they are ... Every kid knows Pac-Man and Space Invaders. Thank you, Thomas, that you show them Dimo!
  14. Older firmware and lack of SIO jack (so SIO2USB is the end of the SIO chain).
  15. Two days ago I talked to Thomas. There are about 20 devices left. And ABBUC shop has some additional ones, but older editions
  16. 700 km single trip for me. But it is worth it The visitor list now counts 44 visitors. Perhaps we can crack the 50 Great Party! Cool people - 80 % Atari 8 Bit - some other machines C64, Atari Falcon, Atari ST, Raspi... Time runs...
  17. You'll find your membership no. on the adress sticker on the envelopes from ABBUC...
  18. The more ABBUC gets international members the more ABBUC is getting an international club. I think ABBUC has a lot of german members aged 60+. These members usually don't speak English very good. But these members are getting less (because of losing interest, becoming ill, etc.). And on the other side the portion of international members who don't speak German is growing. Pro© Atari is an positive example that it is possible to release a fanzine in German and in English language. Only about 10 persons are doing this great job (and I think all of the are members of ABBUC!!).
  19. I am ABBUC member not because of the benefits (e.g. playing games 1 month before the rest of the small Atari world). I am ABBUC member because with the money of 400+ members you can help projects make come alive. Without ABBUC's money it might not have been a Turbo Freezer, a SIO2USB, a MegaSpeedy and so many more fun projects.
