  1. The same as what it was yesterday, and the day before.
  2. quote: Originally posted by Alex: Yes it is. I didn't mention it because I didn't have anything new to report about it - it's been in our database for quite some time now. We don't have a ROM, but we should have some more news about it soon. Except for the fact that we now know that it really exists Also, there was another unreleased game shown - Crack'd for the 2600!
  3. I'm pretty certain I got the last entry badge (#995). Great show and a *much* nicer venue too. Now I'm all keyed up for CGE! Also finally met the "elusive" Albert (kinda hard to miss actually - I think he was the only person there with an Atari Age shirt )
  4. It's one of the best arcade ports IMO. Plus, there's plenty of tricks and bugs to keep it interesting If diagonal shots aren't possible, then what about having different mazes?
  5. quote: Originally posted by Tempest: Incidently the manual really provides alot of fun background information. I love how they give detailed descriptions of all the treasures and creatures. Except that it only describes 3 of the 4 levels Go here for more info.
  6. Thanks. I was going by the manual on this site, which is just a text-translation.
  7. AFAIK it wasn't. It's possible a NTSC proto may exist though.
  8. Finally? They've been up since March 6th
  9. Thanks. Does anyone have a better scan of this?
  10. Would you consider having them dumped?
  11. It's not. Once you shoot the staff and fall through the trap door, you start over again.
  12. Just saw this on the Atari HQ site. I knew there was another company working on 3D games, and Spectravision was it - with Vortex Spectravision also was working on a game that had voice (pretty ambitious company plans)
  13. From these 2 1983 flyers (1st one is 2600, the other is 5200), it appears so! It could also be an overzealous person in marketing
  14. It is on the 2600 box though. Phaser Patrol has some hard-to-believe graphics (so it might be possible), but I doubt CBS's RAM Plus chip was capable of that picture.
  15. You can do a lot more than that http://www.digitpress.com/eastereggs/26combat.htm
  16. It's possible that the pics are for the Atari computers.
  17. "After further review", it appears the 2600 screenshot isn't real (5 balloons falling on rack #2?!?), but I'd guess that it's a fairly accurate representation of how it looks.
  18. I've seen some CBS literature that shows screenshots (not drawings) of Kickman (both 2600 and Intellivision!), Targ, and Wings. Here's a release schedule from 83: [ 04-09-2002: Message edited by: Scott Stilphen ]
  19. Pretty much a mute point now, since nearly every ROM is easy to find on the net.
  20. I also have another office number (408)441-7355 and a fax (408)441-6622, plus an older business site, which still looks to be valid.
  21. What happened to these projects? I've never heard of any more updates on info since they were mentioned in NG (a YEAR ago!)
  22. The tapes are fantastic! But he only released 3 of the 4 tapes. His personal website is still up, but the business is not. Have no idea what's going on with that...
  23. quote: Originally posted by Thomas Jentzsch: No way, I'm to old now. Bah! Nonsense. You can do it!
  24. Just do it again, only videotape it this time
