Ive actually been considering getting a 7800 in place of my 2600 but the compatibility issues on certain models makes me nervous. And man, I'd want a 2800 for the controllers alone! Now that I've thought about it, would those controllers work on a 2600/7800?

I can totally accept that as truth. Lol

Hahaha this was the most civilized "politics" board I've ever seen in any forum.

My first one wasn't that long ago, Buti was helping a friend move and his wife told me to take his box with his smaller rerelease of the 2600 and like 30 games because they didn't play it anymore. Beat payment I've ever received!

Id have to go with keeping the BCS and your most favorite carts but get rid of the others and replace em with a harmony cart.

Honestly, I was never really into video games at all until I was given a 2600 just a few months ago. But I fell in love with it as both a machine and because of the fact that it is still being produced for. I love the idea of this many people still playing and creating for a medium that is now decades old. Not to mention the games are actually good and hold my attention... Unlike new game systems.
