  1. Just bought the Ender Pro 3 as well. This has been a lot of fun.
  2. Also curious. Still interested in both boards.
  3. Haha, oh well. Had Impulse X for a while and didn't know that.
  4. Pretty cool. Ever seen one for Bubsy on the Jaguar?
  5. Dad had a bar code reader for the TRS-80 Model 100. Used it to scan bar codes for inventory at work.
  6. I seem to remember the paper tag too. It might have been just that simple. That is really cool. What are the other two?
  7. Is this at half the price the same one? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32329218193.html?spm=a2g0o.pay_result.pcrcomd.3.5e95wYbHwYbHuL&gps-id=pcPaySuccess&scm=1007.15750.167624.0&scm_id=1007.15750.167624.0&scm-url=1007.15750.167624.0&pvid=57018b6a-6490-4bfd-ac7a-9378bb4652fd&_t=gps-id:pcPaySuccess,scm-url:1007.15750.167624.0,pvid:57018b6a-6490-4bfd-ac7a-9378bb4652fd,tpp_buckets:668%230%23131923%230_668%23808%233772%23986_668%23888%233325%2312_5750%230%23167624%236_5750%233255%2310446%23921_668%232846%238116%23997_668%232717%237558%23145__668%233374%2315176%23474
  8. "Sadly this project was binned by ATARI before it got post proto stage so although the games are all playable - like many protos its MUTE! That said if you like 2600 stuff then this is a must have!" Hmmm... sure it is the regular demo without hit detection so "playable" should be challenged.
  9. Yeh I believe that is. Probably the one you would carry over to the cage to hand over for your actual copy of the game. And it is seeming more and more that there was a run of these for the Jaguar games. Pretty exciting to think about.
  10. I bet for those that bought the 7800 in '84 and had those opening release titles they were very glad to see it released again in '87. It would be beating a dead horse to go on about how 3 years is an eternity in console years. Still cool that it did come back and got SOME chance to shine.
  11. Oh yeh, it was a wild time. I remember looking at the Atari computer games mainly. I saw a Super Charger for the Atari 2600 and picked it up for like $10. Also a remote control joystick set for about as much. And I remember seeing the Atari 7800 games (and this is in 1984), and seeing the back of Desert Falcon and Xevious and thinking how surreal it was to see this. What was this OTHER Atari system? The graphics were amazing. I had heard so little about that system, and was so into my Atari computer, where the graphics were just about as good, and didn't look at it much more than that. Plus by then, I had gotten used to the 5200, which was just basically a repackaged Atari computer, so figured this was something like that. Plus, I had kinda gotten away from consoles by then. I still had the 2600, and so the Super Charger was cool and always wanted to try Phaser Patrol and Dragonstomper, but beyond that, downloading games on a BBS was the way to go! And that Beyond Wolfenstein game really tempted me, and I think I was wondering how I was going to pull the money together to buy it. So much wonder in that moment, fun to revisit. And as I walked out I saw an Intellivision keyboard module, which I was like "What the hell? They'll add anything to an Intellivision". My friend had an Intellivision, I liked them enough. Anyway, I just laughed and walked on out with my Super Charger to buy and ride back home the three mile trek on my bike.
  12. So a question about the VIDPro Display Cards that they used to have at Toys "R" Us. I've noticed cards for naturally the Playstation, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, but also as early as the Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Game Boy. A little more searching I confirm what I remember, seeing VIDpro cards for the Atari 2600 and 7800. And I remember vividly staring at a card for Beyond Castle Wolfenstein for the Atari 8-bit computers. Sooo... did Toys "R" Us sell Atari Jaguar games, and has anyone seen any VIDPro cards for any Atari Jaguar games?

Huh, maybe one day those things will pop out of the code for you. Sometimes looking at something with new eyes helps.
  14. Well, last time I show you something until after I feature it on my blog.
  15. I wouldn't mind knowing that too. I have a working JagCD and another JagCD I want to see if I can fix up. Been meaning to ask some questions about it, this might be a great thread for it.
  16. Sure, shoot me a PM and we can discuss. Here are pictures of the SuperSalt I have. Just the module. What is still missing is the SuperSalt cartridge and the cables for the various tests. This looks like a XL/400-800 SuperSalt and was in a 850 case. I think I got this by helping a friend get set up for calling BBSs around 2001. I tried to walk them through the process, the description of their "850" was ... weird. They opened it up and they learned it was a SuperSalt that apparently the seller didn't seem realize? So I shipped them a spare working 850 in exchange for the SuperSalt. Held as a curiosity. No idea if it works. I thought there was an Atarimax flash cart image, but they do have a MyIde II image at least with the SuperSalt. I'm sure there are others solutions out there. https://atarimax.com/flashcart/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1756&hilit=supersalt
  17. Hmmm... same solution I have for Cybermorph... reach over, grab MP3 player, hit play on playlist...
  18. What is the PokeyMax? I know I have the module (have no idea if it works) but not the cartridge, which I believe you can get an Atarimax cartridge and program.
  19. Do you have the "Zool Rules" book? If so and want to sell, let me know. If you have other Zool merchandise, would be interested in hearing about it.
  20. You'd think with all the cool weapons and tools they could have made some kind of armor and better boots possible.
