  1. I like that too. Having little SD cards for the Atari Jaguar. How sheik and Nintendo Switch like!! And one day when my two year wait for a Game Drive wraps up and I get one I might think about that option.
  2. By the way, if you'd like to dial in to the Darkforce! BBS, there are multiple numbers you can now call: When you reach the user and password prompt type "darkforce" for both. Then will access the Darkforce! BBS. Numbers to use in the link above.
  3. The Game Drive is showing promise to do that. Over time as those that want a GD are given the chance to buy them, and when the CD support is fully established, that might just happen. Finger's crossed! Jaguar and CD unit makes a good hovercraft. Add a regular cartridge at the top of the two and it makes a good toilet. Really excited about this Songbird. I would love to have Battlemorph on cart that I could just pop in and play. I think without music it would be great as Cybermorph also does not have music. And Cybermorph is a regular play for me. Also want to get the soundtrack. And if there was any way to make it where the cart version could cue CD tracks from the sound track (or from whatever CD you put in) that would be awesome. As for another Battlemorph CD, sure, could use another copy. But really want Battlemorph on cart.
  4. Oh wow, that is one cool prize this time!
  5. Speaking of cases, I bought a Skunkboard off ebay mostly because I liked the red 3D printed case it was in. Any idea who made these?
  6. Unless you set the VCS *ON* the Jaguar. I know... old joke.
  7. Now the next bit of fun it getting the high score. I keep getting ran into or crashing into stuff before I can make 10K.
  8. Huh, that is interesting. Luckily for us we are not used to school buses yet... historically speaking. All that is great advice. I do like how in the game there is this rivalry that goes on between you and the other pilots. You bomb their hangar, they bomb yours, a lot of fun. And I have literally also glided onto the runway with no fuel. Interestingly, if you are on the earlier passes at least and you haven't taken damage, generally you use less than 150 units of fuel, which means you can make two passes without refueling. No gentlemen, gravity keeps pulling you down. Hahah... make sense to hear this from "De'Teacher". There were times I wondered if they would deduct points for civilians. But this is war, not a police academy. But I have thought of it, and MOST of the time tried to time bombing runs to hit the bridge after the bus passed. Time for a covert night mission....
  9. Good! (Checks carts) yeh I have one Skunkboard that still has them.
  10. Yeh that's true. The later versions I got without the USB ports I was able to fit into a regular case. Just had to pop it open every time I flashed it, but if you plan on playing a game for a while (like I did with Midnight Resistance and other games I playtested) the solution worked great.
  11. You could 3D print one... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4299388
  12. That's cool you didn't use a Battlesphere Gold cartridge. People get rather cranky about that.
  13. I probably answered this years ago, but my update is that I bought a upgraded Atari 400 with AV support and 32K of memory (and some other funky serial cable coming out of it.) Been great for playing cartridge games on a nice screen with good signal.
  14. Curse you Red Baron!! (on the plus side I took out a bridge when I went).
  15. You remembered my message. Nice!! I have seen Blue Max class 1 and 3 since that time. Have to play this soon. Should be interesting with gravity.
  16. This has been a fun read. Love the Atari 8-bit and Tron Deadly Discs is one of my favorite games on the Intellivision. Keep it up!
  17. Kinda what I was thinking about the lack of space inside a Jag CD unit. Anyway, so Rick, curious how this went and what you found.
  18. Yep, thanks to the advice of those above, and Mr. Atari, the battery was the LR44 or 357 button battery. And I made a quick video of the gameplay of this rare handheld... PS: Only took one battery.
  19. Had fun checking the interwebs for Zool related collectables (Books, handheld game, metal pin) And the Chupa Chups lollypops (which I got from a candy company in the States as they don't normally sell them here). The lime flavored lolly pop is quite good.
  20. Of course naturally. Appreciate the opinions and will proceed cautiously. So far I have only seen two occurances of this game. The one that Gremlin Graphics mentions as a picture from an auction, and this one. Even a systema fan site did not have this listed as one of the games.
