I'd think Sinistar would be fun on the Intelli. Could it do the scrolling screen like the Arcade?

@Tissemon Did you have to make any adjustments for the shell or is there enough clearance for the Pico and socket? One thing I forgot to order were sockets. 😝

I just dusted off my Saturn Since downloading the SotN patch. Cleaned the laser, lubed the laser gears and travel bar, and even flashed my 4'n'1 with PSKai. Unfortunately, none of the discs I burned(4x, 8x, 4x different brand) usually make it past the "Journey to 1792" cut scene. Though one of them did, and made it past the Dracula fight, only to freeze when I paused the game. Right now I'm playing it in RetroArch.

When you do let me know. I have Quake, PSO, and Propellar Arena I can play with people. I have more but the BBA isn't supported with other titles I have.
Will do! I have Propellar Arena, but I haven't got around to burning it yet.

Nothing lately. The last thing I did do was install a battery clip and RGB LED. I have the modem and Pi setup to hop online. I'll probably get to it when I'm done with my Saturn kick.😛

I definitely procrastinated on diy'ing the original RTO. Hopefully I won't on this. Going to grab the PiRTO zip from GitHub and have a look later.

Look a few posts up and you'll see Aotta's PiRTO post. It's be a diy job, but looks a bit easier to do vs the original RTO.

I traded my '98 PS for my brother's Aug '95 years ago so I could play imports. The thing is still going. I remember playing Twisted Metal and Tekken with my brother and his friends when they took D&D breaks back in the day. I also found out a couple years ago it could also play burned discs. I'll list my top ten;
1. Tecmo's Deception
2. SOTN
3. Tekken(1, 2, 3)
4. SFA 3
5. Pocket Fighter
6. Bushido Blade(1, 2)
7. Shadow Madness
8. Real Bout Fatal Fury Special.
9. K.O.F. '95
10. Street Fighter Collection

It's been a couple/3 years, but I would like to hop on Tron or finally make a run through 3D Dot Game Heroes.

Would there be a diy kit you'd sell? With the board and components and either a PDF how to or video?
-
Have you/are you able to access the online servers?

There's also the MSU1 hack of Killer Instinct that is great. It does have some slowdown with some of the impact effects during combos, but it's really close to the v1.5 Arcade KI. I also found a guy ported LoZ to the SNES using the MSU1 for added stuff.

Seen the article when I opened Chrome. 😋 Very cool and interesting.

As is, that's pretty slick!

The many minutes I tried to delete that spoiler inside a spoiler. Just called it and hit submit. 😆

My brother was my hookup for the Cube. He had got me the system, broadband modem, and the GB player. When Nintendo did their GC tour, we went to the Chicago stop. That was pretty cool to be at and play some of the games. The first game I completed was Metroid Prime. I have Prime 2, but I don't think I sat down and dug into it. I do remember kind of being bummed that you couldn't transfer your DC PSO character(s) to GC. 😆 Starting over wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though. The last thing my brother did GC-wise was the region mod that let you play Japanese games via a toggle switch. I snagged a JP copy of Melee for $25 shipped. At that time, that was roughly half of what I was seeing US copies go for.

you forgot a running man
Oh man! I found my brother's and cleaned it up. Still works, but a "quadrant" of the display doesn't. 😋

If you wanna go for diy, you'll find all you need in my GitHub s repo (linked in first post). 5 pcbs cost me less than 20 dollars included shipping from China.
Cool. I think I downloaded it on my PC. I'll check when I'm home later. Is there a link/info for getting the PCBs in it?

I'd be happy with a board and parts list. 😝

Do any of the chips need programming/ coding done?

My big concern would be the board. I have breadboard and could get a donor cart for the slot pins. 😝
