Questions Super Everdrive China
SiberianSpForces replied to gamerfan's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I've never got into chip flashing, but if swapping the OS bin file for the official OS file doesn't work, then I would think flashing could work. I may be wrong, but I think you can flash the current chip, unless it got damaged in the outage. -

Pop the SD in a computer and in the SPED folder there should be an OS.bin file. Move that out and drag and drop the v11 or 12 in and try. If that doesn't work, you may have to hunt down Jack DIY and try to get that OS. -

I'm assuming you posted this issue on Krikzz's forum. I replied with a link to the v1 OS page. It'll be a bin file that you'll place in the SPED folder. Move the original off the SD and drop the v11 or v12 in its place. -

I also have a Super Everdrive Chinese and was able to flash Krikzz's OS with no problems. The downer is that I installed the DSP1 stuff and it didn't work. -

I used to have the Space Alien one where you had to get the UFO to the other platform. Still have the Magic Dragon game. -

I use the unibios for Neo-Geo and to be safe I put it in both Bios and the rom folder where the neo games are. Make sure you use lr-fbalpha as the rom's emulator for each neo game. -

I'm wondering if anyone has had success with making out the controls for the arcade version of Cybersled. I fire it up and the tank strafes in a circle. Using a DS4. -

Take a look at reddit link. The screen is $20 shipped if you don't opt for either camera. Just have to take the case off and pull the HDMI dongle out. I'm also considering getting a portable charger. I'm eyeing an Anker 20000mah one on let go. -

Computer-wise, I have my grandparents' Commodore Plus/4 w/tape deck and floppy drive. Still works, but one keyboard is stuck typing characters instead of the letters. IIRC, holding shift let's you type normal. For consoles; Grandparents' Intellivision, Play It Loud Clear DMG, and a purple GBC.

Selph's scraper is in the experimental folder in the retropie setup. It's way faster than the normal one. There's also another scraper I came across on Reddit. *Edit* Skyscraper; https://www.reddit.com/r/RetroPie/comments/7zvzhp/skyscraper_version_235_released_update_asap/ -

I'll eventually get a K400 for mine or something similar. I'm wondering if Retropie can play Sharp X1 D88 files. Donkey Kong 3: The Great Counterattack has been dumped and I have the file -

If you are trying an IDE drive, snag WinHIIP for transferring to the drive and an IDE-USB adapter set.
