  1. Let's take a look inside of a real Japanese gamers arcade. Filmed January 2017
  2. It's a massive one this week on Battle of the Ports as we take a look at Paperboy
  3. I was obsessed with collecting Japanese Saturn demo discs, so much so that I own every Japanese Saturn magazine demo disc as well as the complete set of Japanese Saturn Flash discs. There's about 30 or so in total. Some of the discs contain beta code of games too which is nice to see. There's even footage of unreleased games.
  4. Being from the UK we always had RGB since the days of the Master System and before so I've always played games with perfect image quality. These days, playing the same Master System on a modern HD TV via RGB and a Framemeister looks no different to how they looked back in 1987. So this pole is hard for me to answer. I guess I should choose original quality but in most people's eyes that means horrid RF or composite image.
  5. Wow, not much love for Mega Drive batman in this thread. I loved the game back in `89 and still enjoy it now. Thumping FM soundtrack, lovely graphics for the time and challenging enough gameplay if you don't play on easy.
  6. You can't go wrong with Fatal Fury Special. That's one of my favourite earlier Neo Geo games! A true classic.
  7. The first video of 2017 is here. Battle of the Ports - Mr. Do! NOTE - The Amiga and Atari ST versions of Mr. Do! are not based upon the original arcade game which is why they are not featured on this video. The same goes for the Neo Geo remake. It's a different game. Versions of Mr. Do! that should have been featured on this video but are sadly not include the Fujitsu FM7, PC98 and the Tomy Pyudai system. The Wii virtual Console version is not considered for this video as it's nothing more than an emulation of the arcade version.
  8. I never knew this was called Miracle Adventure in Japan. I always thought it was called Spin Master here. Someone has been busy buying the good stuff
