  1. Some people here may know that I run the YouTube Channel, Retro Core which is host to the weekly show, Battle of the Ports, now up to it's 133rd show!! Each week a new video is uploaded that takes a look at an arcade game then all it's home ports. This week we are taking a look at Side Arms Hyper Dyne Last week Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was featured Not only is the Retro Core Channle host to Battle of the Ports but also the Retro Core show that sometimes goes around stores in Japan as well as the real Retro Core show which is now in to it's fifth season. I hope the Retro Core Channel has something for you to enjoy! Mark back when Capcom made more than Resident Evil and Street Fighter.
  2. Here you go guys, another requested show. Battle of the Ports Show 130, World Heroes 2
  3. Just make your own using the template provided in the link above. It's not hard at all. Pay me for the ink, label sheets and time and I'll make them for you
  4. That's actually a pretty interesting story. Most gamers don't even have a name for their collection so it's good to see that you do. Oh, and the Never Ending Story is a true classic movie.
  5. I have more rare Sega related stuff to upload in the future although I think I'll need to subtitle some of it. Yeah, I know about the San part in Segatasan Shiro.
  6. So, we all know Segata-san Shiro and his Sega Saturn music video. You may even know Yukawa Hidekazu, head Managing Director of Sega during the time of the Dreamcast. You've probably got a picture of him on your orange Dreamcast box. But did you know he also made a music video much in the same way that Segata-san Shiro did? Here it is in full!
  7. I've been running the Retro Core show now for over 10 years, well before YouTube was a big thing. These days though it's all about YouTube Retro Core 5 is the latest series. Some say it resembles Game Sack although with just one presenter. Also on my channel is the Battle of the Ports show which comes out each weekend. Currently there are 130 shows in the series! Battle of the Ports takes a look at an arcade game then every port (none emulated) across various systems. Then there's the hardware reviews of cheap Chinese junk as well as others interesting game related clips. Please feel free to check out my channel and maybe even subscribe if you like what you see https://www.youtube.com/c/yakumo1975 Sample of the shows. The latest Retro Core 5 The latest Battle Of The Ports The Latest hardware review
  8. Thanks for the heads up on the purple Led. I think it will be better to source one I Japan though as shipping 1 LED from the states will probably cost more than its worth.
  9. Nice. Massive Saturn fan too. I'm lucky to own 99% of every Japanese released Saturn title plus the complete Mail order disc set, Saturn fan cover discs and Famitsu Saturn Magazine discs.
  10. There seems to be a criminally low amount of Sega Saturn talk around here The Saturn is my all time favorite console second to none but I must admit the Super Famicom is close to it. As a celebration I've finally gotten around to uploading the Sega Saturn CG Collection to YouTube. These CG intros are from a time when Sega put a lot of fresh and new ideas to the test and it shows. The Clockwork Knight intro is very impressive for something made in 1994. Check it out!
  11. Sorry, I'm new here so this may be obvious to some but why is it called Ivory Tower Collections? Do you open this awesome collection to the public or something?
  12. Looking nice. I like the two colours you have going on.
  13. Man, that's one bright LED. Was thinking of changing the LED in my silver Mega Drive to purple but I can't find a suitable LED for it.
  14. Yep, the one and only. I also have a CD single by him promoting the Dreamcast. And let's not forget to mention the music video to go with it. Maybe I should upload it to YouTube at some point.
  15. Hmm last 3 Retro games I played would be: 2020 Baseball (Neo Geo, SFC and Mega Drive) Hoshi no Kirby 3 (SFC) Dynamite Headdy (Master System)
  16. Thought I'd add my Xbox gamer tag to the list - Yakumo1975 I don't play stuff like Call of Duty but do love many other modern games.
  17. Yep, Brazilians did love their Master System. It's a shame the Master System never had games of this quality much earlier in its life as this game blows away anything the NES ever put out graphically.
  18. Very cool. I'm going go be downloading this first thing tonight once I get home. There's nothing better than some rocking Technosoft tracks.
  19. Yeah that is quite a bit more than I paid. . Mine was just over 2000 yen which I've just checked to be 21 USD . This is a fun little unit but only worth it for the novelty.
  20. Couple of nice items you have there. The Intellivoice is a nice item to own for sure.
  21. Yeah, the NES mini is old school. It still needs a TV. What you need is the Chinese original console P.G.S.!!
  22. All the way from Brazil to Japan - Dynamite Headdy for the Sega Master System. Running on my Mega Drive via a kit built Master System converter. Inside the cart there's a TecToy sticker to show it's official. This game is very impressive for a Master System. Almost looks 16 bit in placed.
  23. Normally I wouldn't touch a sports game but this one is actually good.
  24. Maybe but at the moment I have no plan to do so. Ooh, now that is big. Quality stuff.
  25. Nice monitor! I have no idea what pounds are when it comes to weight though. What size is it? 20inch?
