  1. I'm still surprised that Taco Tico still exits despite all the locations close to me closing down. I wonder if there are any other former iconic restaurant chains still open on technicality?

      I know I've read about several chains that are down to one or two remaining locations, but I can't think of any names right off hand (a lot of them are chains that were "iconic" in other parts of the country and never made it to my neck of the woods). I did eat a ton of Taco Tico in high school though. Tico > Bell.

      We have the very last York Steakhouse near us.

      Dog N Suds, in its heyday in the early - mid 70's had 700 locations nationwide (Mostly east and midwest I think,) and now are down to just 12.
