I wonder if anyone here played that Shadowgate remake?

I wonder why no one ever talks about Metallica's first two albums anymore? (Currently listening to Battery.)

I listened to Metallica like a fiend back in the old days, Ride the Lightning was the first one I bought,...Went back and bought Kill'em All, then waited for Master to come out...I Loved them up until the disappointing Black album, which I did Not buy...At that point I was more into Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Entombed etc., and also punk like Bad Religion, The Misfits, Pennywise, and so on...

Most of the "greatest" from 80's metal only had 3 good albums.
I'm talking about albums good all the way through. No filler.
Metallica...first 3
Megadeth....first 3 (although i'l accept if you swap So far, so good, so what for Rust in Peace)
Anthrax....first 3
Slayer...well that one starts a debate depending on if you like Show no Mercy or Hell Awaits more...but one of those, Reign in Blood, and South of Heaven.....still just 3.

Happy 79th Birthday, Woody Woodpecker!

Aside from Eternal Darkness, are there any other instances of Latin in video games? (Barring fan translations.)

If it were up to me, I would have ended the Terminator franchise with Salvation being the third and final film. Of course, the Universal Studios ride is what Salvation should have been.

RIP Robert Evans. I admit to liking his show on Comedy Central, even if it was short lived.

For those who still remember The Golden Girls and ALF, here's The Wickedest Witch:

Are there any underwater levels that you guys don't hate?

I don't mind retcons as long as one is judicious with and put a lot of thought into them.

Even though he died ten years ago, Ben Spurgin did more to elevate Newgrounds last decade than Legendary Frog and Zekey Spacey Lizard combined.

I've been thinking about making Carbon Fiber doors for my Dodge Dart. If the Ring Brothers and Ultra Carbon can do it, so can I. Don't worry, I'll make more than just two.

If there is one genre that the Sega Game Gear excelled at: it would be RPGs, despite the lack of recognition until recently.

I can't believe that I missed the news that Richard Williams (Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Thief and the Cobbler, Raggedy Ann and Andy) passed last month. In case anyone is wondering, I still like Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Happy belated birthday, Sega Dreamcast!

Soundgarden's two best songs:
RIP Chris Cornell.

I wonder what kind of crossover between DC comics and Akira Toriyama would be like? (Obvious DBZ jokes not withstanding.)

It irks me that Netherrealm Studios went from an awesome Mortal Kombat reboot, to a decent--albeit problematic--follow up, to something that makes everyone want to apologize to MK vs DC Universe. However, there is a silver lining to MK 11: the fatalities, brutalities, and X-Rays are as awesome as ever.

It's been a long time since we heard anything from John Tobias. The last game he did that I know of was Tao Feng.

They're part of the new generation of Hollywood. Nothing that was done before they came along should matter. Anything that they don't already know isn't worth knowing. No matter what they've done, they were either the first ones to do it, or they did it better ... all while being unfailingly stunning and brave.
