Hullabaloo Episode One is here:

Another video on Mel Blanc, with two on Frank Tashlin:
A Frank Tashlin Animation Retrospective - YouTube

Here's a little something for my fellow gearheads:
Anyone who can take one of these and make a powerhouse out of it deserves respect.
-
For those of you who enjoyed Robocop: Rogue City, I present, Robocop 2D:
-
A Brand new batch of Amiga games:
Reshoot Proxima 3 looks very good and I bet many shmup fans will love it.
Grind: Darkenward East looks promising.
AGA Castlevania, on the other hand, still has a way to go.
-
For fans of Valve's Half-Life:
At least it is something to help deal with a leaking hot water heater. (Don't worry, I turned the breaker and valve off.)
-
Joke Time 02:
Q: Why did Go Nagai hate the Violence Jack OVAs?
A: They wiped the smile off his face.
Sam Seder is so unfunny that he makes the Babylon Bee look like George Carlin and Bill Hicks.
-
The music to Violence Jack:
Even if this OVA trilogy had you (and Go Nagai) running to the bathroom, at least this music the best part of it.
-
New episode of PC-88 Paradise, and this episode is Zeliard:
Twisted Dark Productions also just made a new Twisted Metal 4 ending:
New Pigsy progress video to top it all off:

The World-Renowned car designer Frank Stephenson critiques Cyberpunk 2077's vehicles:
By World-Renowned, I mean he designed the BMW X5, Ferrari F430, the modern Mini Cooper, and the modern FIAT 500.
-
My friend just bought an X5. They are pretty sweet vehicles! After he parked it in my driveway, all its cameras took pictures of my house and garage, then (Probably using Google Earth or some satellite imagery) it makes kind of a 3D composite pic and sends it to his phone...So he had a pic of his vehicle that could be rotated and he could spin around the image of my yard and house etc....He said next time we go see a concert in Denver we're going in style!

Citroën, the automotive industry's outlier:
The CX isn't just the last true Citroën, but the last one that requires the owner to use Citroën-specific motor oil and green LHM fluid. They were on to something with that hydro-pneumatic suspension. Speaking of...

I'm onto my third (*) French car right now, though all of those were post-2000 so not the quirky type of cars like in the 80's and 90's. Actually I remember looking inside a Citroën as a teenager some time in the late 80's and determined the driver environment looked like a spaceship compared to a Volvo or pretty much any other brand I had seen from the inside.
Nowadays they share platforms with eachother and other brands, and tend to be quite straightforward from what I can tell as a non-mechanic. Even the screws tend to fasten in the same direction as everyone else's, not in reverse like how French screws used to be.
(*) Peugeot 306XT (?), Citroën Xsara Break, Renault Clio

Perhaps those were only used in other equipment and constructions, or in older cars.
But like I wrote when I was looking for used cars the other month, the vast majority of cars in my price range were French, some Korean. I can't recall how much of a market share they used to have, but clearly the low end of the market over here has a strong bias for Peugeots, Citroëns and Renaults.

I had the original, but wasn't very good at it and was confused at how to search things. (I was four years old when I had this game.)

Something for Mazinger fans:
Fun facts:
1. Go Nagai did make a US market Mazinger comic that is also known as Mazinger USA. This is very hard to find, even back then.
2. He and his studio, Dynamic Planning, were involved in Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter, CB Chara: Ushiwareta Gag, and Shien's Revenge.
-
Psycho-Nics Oscar:
As far as Data East is concerned, this is overlooked.
-
Happy belated 95th birthday, Dr. Osamu Tezuka!
-
The Panhard 24BT:
I know that French cars have a stigma in the eyes of American Consumers, and one that has somewhat persisted. However, if you knew the ins and outs of them, they were surprisingly reliable. Hell, I bet a Citroen 2CV or a Renault Dauphine with a Motus V4 under the hood would make for quite the attraction at a car show.
-
The making of Hideaki Anno's Cutie Honey:
I'm in the middle on this movie. On one hand, it's entertaining. On the other hand, its entertaining parts don't advance the plot while the story beats come off as dull. Thankfully, Anno-sama gave us Shin Godzilla. @awbacon I bet you would like this behind the scenes video.

Looks like someone was inspired by Art Clokey's early works...

Happy Halloween, and here are some vehicular treats:
-
Rankin-Bass meets Silence of the Lambs:
As an added bonus:
Twisted Dark and Non-Verbal Pie made lemonade with one of 989's lemons.
-
Return of the V-twin swapped Renault:
The Motus V4 engine in action:
To tell you the truth, I bet that V4 would have been perfect for that Renault. (Or for that matter, other Renault models. Just imagine a Renault 5/Le Car with that engine underneath the hood.)

@Charlie Cat I bet you would get a kick out of these.

@SlidellMan Hahaha. I sure did Shane. Thank you for sharing them with me. As a Yugo owner, these videos are fantastic.
-
Time for some Electric Light Orchestra:
Hideaki Anno and the rest of Gainax at the time had their heads on straight when they chose this album for Daicon IV.
-
A little dose of Hulkmania:
I'll let you guys in on something: My dad and his friends were real big into wrestling in the '70s and '80s, but stopped watching when they thought it got too corny.

NSU Wankel Spider:
Gaylord Gladiator:
To be honest, this car doesn't look too bad.
