  1. I believe that was after Warner took over... If you want to be SUPER SPECIFIC that was the time when Atari first came into contact with the NWO/Illuminati...
  2. Before Warner took over. When it was dominated by the Hippie Culture...
  3. Yep. I watched too much James and Mike Play - and it came to my mind that probably working at Atari in the 80s must have been a unique experience. Can anyone shed some light????
  4. Well... I don't know much about manufactoring but my SNES was made in AUG of '91 so I can assume that manufacturing must begin months or weeks before the launch of a system. If any of you guys own early SNES's, flip it over and look at the printed date code on the gold sticker, we may just get an idea that way...
  5. The Sears consoles went through every revision except for the VAII, (the 2800), the Dark Lord's approved model, and the Jr. There are Heavy and Light sixers, (I remember 'em in my local Game Store). I choose the 4 switchy woody because I never really grew up on the 2600, so that's the model my mind associates with the 2600, (and that was the only one that the dude in the Flea Market had...)
  6. http://www.theverge.com/2016/7/21/12251484/nintendo-nes-classic-mini-comic-con-2016 Looks cool. But DAGGOMMOT I had plans to buy a Famicom! Well I found a 2600 instead, so it's a win-win situation... I wonder, would this baby actually LOWER the prices on NES games?

  8. Hello. I am need of help! I have recently modded my 2600 to use AV and although I am getting color, the screen flickers like nuts... This mod required the removal of the resistor R209 and the transistor Q201/2 - I had to jump R209 to get color so I though maybe R209 was at fault - but tit was dumb luck that I did not throw R209 away so I tested it out, and the same thing happened so I know that R209 is not at fault. I decided that maybe the TIA is at fault so I bough a TIA Chip and it did not make a difference. Please help... Thanks! 9. I have partially solved the problem by jumping R209 but I am getting a flashy picture although it is in color.
  10. Hello everybody. I need some help...... I just AV modded my 2600 and when I would turn it on or screw with the video wire, (on and off the contact) the picture would flash in color and then would revert to this: BUT when I would put pressure on the wire onto the plate the picture would revert to color. I thought that the wire trace was broken so I repaired it, which didn't make much of a difference except putting pressure onto that general are would produce color. I though it could be a resistor, so I removed it, which didn't solve the color problem but made the picture clearer. I would appreciate any tips or help, I think that this problem has to do more with the PCB than anything else..... Thanks Again!
