[Coleco ADAM Power Supply]

Hello one and all,

 

I am looking for one of those magnificient power supply for my adam, well it's a colecovision with the adam module, Still, I have no printer so no power to the adam.

 

I have two console, one of which I am modifying the ram from 4116 to 4164. But I still don't know if the -5v is used for anything else... Anyways, this PS sounds like a really cool deal.

Rey, how much do you ask for them, I'm in no rush, at home on sick leave so plenty of time.

I am curious,

I use the Raspi and PC to emulate Coleco, Using the Utlimate USB Controller adaptor, InTV mainly but does a pretty good job with Coleco and others.

 

Sooo, has anyone built a gettup to load games from physical cartridge? or attach an Adam Tape drive, adamnet devices?

Currently working to fix up a Module 3, mainly for fun but also to test devices and tapes. If I could just attach that to a raspi, I'd save a lot of desk space.

[Expansion Module 3]

I am toying with the idea of swapping out the 4116 for 4164. hopefully get rid of the -5v requirements and just use a PC power supply.

 

My setup is a coleco console + Module 3. No Printer.

 

I suspect I would also need something to trick the module that the printer did complete the reset.

 

Anyone else considered this option.
